Gameday for Nov. 13?

  • Tigerfan00
IMO there will be two big games with Penn State(6-3) at Ohio State(8-1) or Miss State(7-2) at Alabama(7-2).

With Alabama coming off a loss and the OSU and PSU game having the Big Ten race on the line, I would think Columbus would be favored getting it.

Ya I guess you're right...there really isn't a big game next week. Maybe they'll do like a division 3 game or some shit..they usually do one of those a year.

    South Carolina @ Florida.

    2 Things...

It's an ESPN game already. And it had SEC East implications, with USC's loss yesterday.

Just announced that they'll be here in Columbus this Saturday.

We always welcome the gameday crew.

I would have figured it would have been in the SEC somewhre.... considering that ESPN has that huge deal w/ the SEC and the fact that South Carolina has a shot to make it into the title game for the 1st time
  • Ty Webb
Terrible game for them to be at

Well, the Mich/OSU game isnt as big as usual...........there's no big games next week..........and Aub vs. Bama will be a gameday game 2 weeks from now, so it definitely wouldnt be in the SEC this week. Thus leaving the OSU game. Surprised they didnt have OSU vs. Iowa for a gameday game. There must be a big matchup the following week somewhere.

very weak choice. i would have hit up a service academy or a d 3 school before a ho-hum big ten game

edit - should have been new mexico at air force. veterans day week ending with gameday at the air force academy

There are storyline reasons to be in Columbus. Penn State is coming in on a win streak. JoPa just won his 400th game. This is very possibly JoPa's last season in the sidelines, so this may be the last time GameDay could be at a game he's coaching it. There aren't a ton of other great games this weekend. Columbus is always a good GameDay location and they haven't been here yet this year. The only reason I'm surprised by this because there really aren't any good games next week other than OSU at Iowa, and it's extremely unlikely that they would do an OSU game two weeks in a row (although it did happen in 2006).

I was actually thinking the same thing about the following week. Gameday could very well be at Iowa.

Why? New Mexico can't stay within 50 of Air Force on their best day. And Air Force isn't even that good.

It's Penn State and Ohio State. That's why Gameday will be there. Two good football teams and storied programs.

I love how Ty Webb(Gibby) says its a terrible game for them to do but doesnt add anything to his opinion on where they should or could be, once again another post with nothing to add to the topic.
