  Might be a non issue..but there is NO question it was an intentional cheap shot. Surely hope there was some kind of punishment given.

  So that precludes discussion on the subject? I don't think what either coach had to say regarding the matter is relevant to what an observer concludes from the video.

  This was the 1st I've heard of this, so I don't think it's a jab at ND. This is the same as the NE thread on here about the kick off return. Stop crying "whoa is me."

  It's irrelevant to most people. Neither player nor the coaches care if it was a cheap shot. Apparently some fans do.
  
  On another note it's important to understand that chop blocks are not the same as cut blocks. One is illegal the other is not.

  Cut blocks are a legal blocking technique.
  
  Chop blocks are defined by the NCAA as a combination low/high or high/low block by two players on an opponent without a time delay in between and are illegal.
