I hope we least go to the Rose Bowl

Ohio State at 11?? that has to be a joke
  • dlazz
It looks like #1 is ranked 3rd in the human polls.(again)

I wouldn't be shocked to see both Oregon and Auburn lose in the coming weeks.

Ehh, I like Oregon at number 1, but Auburn still has to play Bama and Georgia.
I'm not sold on Auburn either with an OT win to Clemson, and 3 point victories to UK and Miss St.

OSU at 11 is fine for now. Wisconsin should be ranked ahead of them. Oklahoma ahead of OSU is a stretch to me, but w/e.
Missouri that high is interesting and I wouldn't have them that high, but we'll see this weekend against Nebraska.

Sparty at 5 is very interesting. If they beat Iowa, it is not outside the realm of possibility for them to head to the title.

Btw, anyone else loving the bantering back and forth between Herbie and Craig James?

Why even rank Boise and TCU if we are just going to continually move other teams past them? It makes no sense to me. Everyone knows if Michigan State wins this week against Iowa they will jump both Boise and TCU....I hate this system.

The 2010 college football season does not have a clear cut #1 team....just a bunch of really good teams.

Who would you have above Missouri? They're undefeated and have wins over a #1 team and nice wins over a pretty good Illinois team and drilled Texas A&M. Everyone below them has a loss except Utah and their schedule is junk.

I can't fucking stand Craig James

Herbie made some really good points tonight.....

I don't really care where the Bucks are ranked, but does anyone else think it's a little weird that no other #1 team that lost fell as far as Ohio State did.....
  • Blanket
    How does Auburn jump Oregon?

Is that 2 weeks in a row that Oregon has had someone jump them for #1 in the BCS?

    It's what I expected.

this is totally proving that the system is a joke and its time for a playoff. NOW
  • OQB
That's the only way you will know who the best team is every year.
  • darbypitcher22
whatever the case, one thing is for sure: there will NOT be a Boise/TCU championship game this year. The powers that be won't let it happen. And you can take that to the bank
  • OQB
    Got that right!
  • darbypitcher22
I think this totally changes at some point here in the next couple of weeks. I see Mizzou stumbling against someone, and Michigan State might get tripped up this week

ESPN will never allow that to happen
  • darbypitcher22
    ^^^^

you know what? that might be the best point you've had all night, because now that they have the contract for the rights to the games, it won't happen. So we're stuck with a screwed up system for at least 3 more years and probably more

ok..because espn, a sports news network, runs college football

They own the TV right for all the BCS bowls...so yea, they do run college football
  • OQB
Yes, ESPN does have a lot to do with sports...they are the worldwide leader in sports!
  • darbypitcher22
its not even fun to try and predict these every week anymore... they completely fool you when they're released
  • dlazz
Realistically, I can see any of the top 10 teams losing in the coming weeks except Boise and Bama.
  • darbypitcher22
Boise has that one game looming w/ Nevada in a few weeks that is a potential trap but I'm pretty sure they'll run the table
