Week 9: Ohio State def. Minnesota, 52-10
-
LeonardoBuckeye look to keep rolling while Minnesota hopes to savor their season with a big win
8:00 PM kickoff on ABC -
darbypitcher22Bucks need to show up and take care of business.
Something tells me this could end up being like last year, where after the Purdue loss we kind of buckled down and started playing real good football and left us wondering what could have been. -

NAW....it's on network TV. Minny will give the Buckeyes a scare and give the haters more ammunition as to why Ohio State is overrated.Mohican00;530679 wrote:drubbing -
Cleveland BuckAs bad as Minnesota has been, they still have a lot of talented players, including a 4 year starter at QB, some nice receivers, and a solid back in Bennett. They have been working all year on running between the tackles. If the Buckeyes come out asleep against this team they will run the ball against our soft front four.

ptown_trojans_1I'm a huge Buckeye fan, but no way should this game be on ABC as the primetime game. The Oregon and USC game should be national coverage and OSU should be on ESPN. Awful choice that most of the country will not be able to see Oregon and USC.
That said, OSU will win by 40 or 50. Minnesota is bad, very, very, very bad. -

I agree. I'm not sure how these decisions are made but ABC/ESPN has this one bass ackwards.ptown_trojans_1;530781 wrote:I'm a huge Buckeye fan, but no way should this game be on ABC as the primetime game. No doubt about that. 40-50 conservative -
gorocks99Anyone going to the game? Hope you enjoy the new stadium and experience. I agree, it will be an ass kicking. Hopefully the Gophs can keep it respectable for a half.
-
sjmvsfscs08Two 49-0 games in a row for the Buckeyes? It's likely.

dazedconfusedwhy in the blue hell is this a primetime abc game? this should be at best a noon game on espn 2

Since I refuse to allow myself to make Comcast rich, I get all of the major networks over-the-air in free HD.
I watch the Buckeyes exclusively on ESPN3 unless the local ABC affiliate happens to broadcast the game. lol -
killer_ewokAgree about the time slot and station. That's absurd....especially when there's another game on at the same time that should be competitive and an upset is more likely in that one. Oregon is top 5 and USC is starting to pick up a little momentum now.
I'd be shocked if Minny can stay within 4 TD's of OSU. -
se-alumYea, I usually love a night game, but this is crazy. Play the game at noon so I can watch it and get on with my Saturday!
-
dwccrewIt should be over by halftime.
Halftime
Ohio State 42
Minnesota 0
Final
Ohio State 56
Minnesota 14 -

+1. They put this game on ABC primetime, and the Wisky game and Miami game were both on ESPN (thanks to NASCAR taking the primetime ABC slot.) A few weeks ago I got regional coverage of ND-Boston College (woo-hoo) when Oregon and Stanford were the best game on the dial then. Thank you ABC/ESPN. -
sleeperProbably won't even watch it. Minnesota is just garbage. They'd probably receive poll votes if they were in the SEC though.
-
BlanketThis really is the primetime game on ABC?
-
se-alumMaybe there's a Minnesota grad making decisions at ABC, and they just want to show off the new stadium in primetime??
-
jhay78Oregon @ USC is "the" primetime game on ABC, called by Brent Musberger and Herbie.
OSU-Minnesota is regional coverage. -

Ohio State is overrated. Horrible QB and a coach that coaches like its the 1980s -

OSU-Minnesota is regional coverage.
Define regional? Just in Ohio and Minnesota, or the whole East coast?
Also, will other people be able to watch the Oregon/ USC game, like on ESPN2 Standard definition or something? -

Coverage map should be on ESPN later today, if not already.
