Wisky is a passing offense? I think with the RB's they have they like to run.

This will be a tough game. I think it will be vintage Tressel and a close game the entire way. 24-20 Buckeyes prevail

Remember also that this is a veteran OSU team with limited young players outside of Hankins, Bryant, and sub or two. I think the guys on the field will handle the atmosphere okay just like they did at PSU last season.

I think wisconsin moves the ball much like last year by passing. OSU shuts down their running game. Tolzien will throw one too many picks and OSU will win 31-10

Big 10 road games are very tough when teams from the top half of the conf. play each other. Camp Randall crazies even make it more challenging. The newly added pressure of being No. 1 cranks it up another notch. Make no mistake this will be a slugfest. Bucks did not need a running game to dismantle a team like IU but they will need someone (Herron most likely) to get 100 against the Badgers to set up TP for the short 3rd down bubble slants and hooks he will need to win this game. If this Bucks team truly wants to be mentioned with the great teams of the past, a game like this is one they have to step up and win. I believe they can but it will be an all night fight...Bucks 28 / Badgers 24.

I think OSU wins by about 2 touchdowns. I'm just not sold on Wisconsin, and the Buckeyes are rolling after beating up Indiana.

Haha. No wagon jumping for me. I despise the Buckeyes! Nice try though.

Yeah, you'd think maybe I would. But then if you Buckeyes would have done that in the 90s, look where you'd be. I'll just wait it out. ;)

^^^it's worth the wait, Web--it's great to be a Buckeye!!!

Actually Webhead back in the mid 90s I hated Cooper so much I would pull for whoever they were playing each week because I knew his days were numbered and the more losses he had the quicker that day would get here. So for a couple of years there I yelled "Go Blue" at the top of my lungs...and then I would go vomit cuz I hated myself so much.

That's hilarious...I did the same thing from time to time. My brothers were willing to pay for counseling!;)

Yeah, those were the days. Probably never a more hated coach with such a good win/loss record.

Remember the ILL game in the 'Shoe when the great Kenyon Rambo (LOL) fumbled the punt and the Bucks lost? I was going crazy cheering for the Illini and got in a fight with some idiot in sec 6A and we both got tossed by State Hwy. Had to sit in a holding area under the stadium until they ran our IDs and the other doofus had an unpaid ticket of some type and they arrested him on the spot.

OSU fans didn't hate Coop. There is no denying his won-loss record. HOWEVER, he had a propensity for losing bowl games and/or worse, losing to Michigan.

You have to understand that the Buckeyes could go 4-8 on the season which would suck, but as long as one of those "W's" is against Michigan, all is right in Buckeye-land.

Was it any different than the Michigan fans who wanted Lloyd fired at the end of his career? At least he won a national title and a bunch of big ten titles for you guys.

I didn't hate him personally, but I fucking hated him being the OSU coach and consistently screwing up the big games. Now that he's gone I don't have any ill will towards him.

Off topic, but it is kind of a surprise that Cooper never got another head coaching job. Maybe he wasn't pursuing one though, I don't know.

I think he wanted to relax and enjoy his grand kids. He had plenty of cash, so why not?

Yea, I think if Coop wanted to coach again, he could have.

I don't think Carr was "hated" like Cooper was. You're last statement is correct. OSU fans didn't hate Cooper the person, they hated Cooper the coach.

Also, no true Buckeye fan would ever want them to lose a game, just so the coach got fired. I believe those "fans" would be referred to as "fairweather".

Or fans smart enough to know you have to swallow the bitter pill from time to time to get well. Tress may not be the entire cure but I feel a hell of a lot better. ;)

Agree. These other guys are minor league for wanting OSU to lose. Just bend over take the losses and hope tOSU makes the right decision, which they did by getting tressel.

Pollyanna insight...only the most valid of Buckeye fans recognized what Cooper had done to the program and knew there was no way the Athletic Dept could possibly let him go unless he lost more of the big games. And there was no bigger game than the scUM game and he managed to lose almost ALL of those. So did I cheer against them? ...bet your arse I did. And to answer someone's question: not a team in the top 50 D-1 teams would have ver taken a chance on that guy. That's why he stayed "retired". Joke of a Coach.

I think quite a few people hated Cooper. I know a lot of people who think he shouldn't be in the College football hall of fame, and I think the Dispatch got a bunch of hate mail when he was selected.

There are a lot of schools that would be more than happy to have the record Coop had at OSU. (Losses to Michigan and Bowls included) We're just not one of them.
