Again, how did that work out for Bowling Green and Utah when he said the same?
Utah was a significant step up from BG, and Florida was a massive step up from Utah. It's not really comparable to the current situation where he'd be leaving arguably the best program in CFB right now for a rebuilding project who hasn't been relevant in the national title picture for over a decade.

Every thread I see you on ends up in a name-calling and bashing match because you cant construct a normal conversation with someone who doesn't share your view without calling them a moron or an idiot.

Yeah, all the resident assholes like yourself don't like me. The majority of the posters on here don't like those idiots either. Nice try Einstein.:s

Again I should look at the source before I even respond to anything you post.
    Yeah, you never start anything.

    Which ND fans said that?

I did. They would not honor it due to non-sufficient funds.
Must be the Notre Dame bank because the only thing winning at ND is the coaches, and I'm not talking about football.

I apologize. I know I should ignore these people but sometime I need to lower myself to their level and pollute the board with the same trash they do.

    you are joking, right?

Like I have said on several ND threads, everyone knows everyone's opinions on ND, no need to spew hate on every thread. This is an interesting topic that is being dragged down by doucheyness......we don't need this CFF being like the other site's forum. It was a complete joke.

The problem wasn't the bank.....it was your account. The teller mentioned something about an "alligator mouth" and a "canary ass." I'm no longer accepting personal checks from you. Sorry.

I agree with this. I'd rather have insightful discussions and debates. Quite a few of us are pretty good about doing this but the usual pot-stirring trolls can't resist when it comes to flaming threads. I'll engage them every now and again (see previous post) but would prefer to keep it tactful.

I'll admit I was wrong when I thought Charlie would bring us a lot of success after taking us to a combined 19-4 first two regular seasons. The recruiting was coming in, he was winning, the offense was producing like it hadn't in a long time, there was a buzz about ND again. Apparently he fizzled out though, not sure how much of it was due to Ty, but I know I am ready for a new coach and hopefully Big game Bob can lose us a few NC's (I just want to be in one, is that too much to ask for?)
  • ohiotiger33
I remember before last season when Lou Holtz said that ND would never lose another home game under Weis.

    LOL.
  • newarkcatholicfan
When it comes to Notre Dame Holtz is blind to the fact that they stink.
  • athlete37
Yes, please don't hold us accountable to what he says anymore. He was a great coach, but he is more optimistic than the most optimistic ND fan you'll meet ( which is probably me )
  • Mr Pat
I thought Weis would bring them a National Championship after 05 and 06. I never mentioned it on jjhuddle but I have zero problem admitting I was wrong.
  • Automatik
Its no secret that I dislike ND. But I honestly thought Weis was a bad hire from the beginning. I just didn't like how he conducted himself and his arrogance. Confidence is one thing, but he came across as arrogant from the get go.

I'd go for a young coach, Kelly or Schiano and stop with the Urban Meyer pipe dreams. Its not gonna happen.

yeah, you must have been in a coma a few years ago during the "bush push" saga.

notre dame wins that game and they play in the national championship game that season. FACT.

Ahh the Bush Push. The biggest win of the Weis era.

Count your lucky stars that Notre Dame didn't end up winning that game. Ohio State dominated them. It would have been an embarrassment for Notre Dame to play in the National championship game
  • rocket31
maybe so, although, by the end of the year i believe ohio state would have dominated anyone.

didnt they send 5 first round draft picks into the nfl from that team?

ohio state should have won the title that season, best all-around team in college football.

Yeah, I would've hated watching them get blown out in the National Championship game. That is embarrassing. ;)

    I agree. No argument here.

Ohio State was the best team in the country in 2005, and Notre Dame was still within one touchdown of them in the fourth quarter. It wasn't domination.
