-
daveI feel pretty confident about this one, i think Michigan covers that.

Actually, Michigan opened as a 15 point favorite. It has been bet down to 10.5.
I think this is a perfect trap game for Michigan with Michigan State coming up the following week. This isn't the Indiana of old, they have significant talent at the skill positions. I wouldn't be surprised in the least for this game to come down to the wire. -
Trueblue23Last week was the exact kind of game we needed. It was a must to get these other offensive players some confidence heading into the Big Ten season.
I think Michigan will win this game, 45-31, with Denard having a HUGE day. -

I highly doubt this team is looking ahead. They know how important this game is. If they lose, it won't be due to looking ahead IMO. -
WebFireMichael Shaw is now doubtful for this game, as well as Fitz Toussant. Good news is that Carvin Johnson and Marvin Robinson should both be back.
-
Hb31187Guess that means a whole bunch of Vincent Smith and Cox
-
daveShaw is a big loss. That's not good news, I still worry about Smith's ball security.

They started 4-0 last season and this talk came up and then they proceeded to finish 5-7. I am not writing Michigan off, but I haven't been sold on them yet either. Way too early yet, let's see how October plays out before we start worrying about November.
I agree with you. I have learned to not get to excited over the past 2 years. I think they have 7 games they should win this year and 5 more that they will be lucky to get 2 wins out of. Those 7 are not guaranteed though as I still think they are going to go 7-5 or 8-4. If they get to 9 I will be shocked. IU is not a big ten test IMO. They have not been good in years and Michigan did beat them last year. Because of this Michigan should win this game by 2 scores IMO. The games Michigan really needs to win are IU, Purdue, and Illinois. I think they got a good shot at PSU, MSU and Wisconsin(Wiski because they run constantly and Michigan's Defense is a little better at stopping the run. As long as RR can keep them from collapsing and have them play their best every game they will win 7 or 8. But they are still very young and the defense is horrible. I hope I am wrong and they go 12-0 GO BLUE!!! I am going to the Illinois game in November by the way and I am stocked to see the finished product that is the new Big House. -

I was at the UMass game and I'll be at the Iowa game, The Big House looks amazing. -
dlazzWhoever scores last will win. This will be a high scoring game.

YOUR argument is WRONG, if you think Robinson is "as big as PLENTY of running backs... in d1 football".Hb31187;499752 wrote: honestly I dotn see why everyone thinks hell be so abused in big 10 play, hes as big as PLENTY of running backs that play d1 football but because hes a qb it must mean he cant take hits. That argument is old
Let's look at the Big Ten.
Denard Robinson is 6-0, 188....maybe.
Ohio State - QB 6-6 240, RB 6-1 219
Penn State - QB 6-4 208, RB 6-1 228
MSU - QB 6-3 202, RB 6-2 230
Indiana - QB 6-3 239, RB 6-0 225
Purdue - QB 6-1 210, RB 5-10 195
Illinois - QB 6-3 195, RB 6-0 230
Northwestern - QB 6-1 210, RB 5-9 205
Iowa - QB 6-4 230, RB 5-11 205
Wisconsin - QB 6-3 205, RB 6-1 248
Minnesota - QB 6-3 221, RB 5-9 210
Nebraska - QB 6-1 205, RB 6-0 220
In reality, Robinson is a smallish Wide Receiver. As often as he runs, in the Big Ten he's a major injury waiting to happen. -
Midstate01I watched Indiana and this game won't be close. Indiana is as bad as usual. 41-17
-
Hb31187Lol so just because you're big, you're tough and harder to injure? Noted
Ps, whyd you switch from the name Paladin to your current one? lol -
WebFireTP is 240 and was hurt last year. Man, I guess DR should be happy he is still alive.
Until (if) he gets hurt, this argument means nothing to me. If he does get hurt, well, they have 2 good backups. -
Big Gain
LOL, no fool, you're the one saying Robinson is big and tough and hard to injure by your claim he is as big as PLENTY of D1 backs, you had nothing to back up your claim, I wonder why? My list is proof of your misinformation campaign.Hb31187;503144 wrote:Lol so just because you're big, you're tough and harder to injure? Noted

BTW, is Hb31187 the name you were born with or is it your Zip code? What was your previous zip code? -

Except it's actually proof of nothing, because you listed all quarterbacks. -
Big GainWeb,
And Pryor didn't miss a game and no could tell he had a tear in a ligament. DR on the other hand grimaced and grabbed his leg the first time his knee was bruised. -

And you just proved your lack of intellect. READ CLOSELY, I also listed the size of each team's leading running back.
With each new post you embarrass yourself all the more.
To let you know another thing that is an embarrassment for you. Your signature quote at the bottom of each post. Well, Brandon Saine ran a 10.38 in the 100 Meters at the State Meet when he was a JUNIOR in high school and didn't improve on the State Record when he was a Senior, due to a pulled hamstring that kept him out of track. -
Hb31187and he should of stayed with track because he cant make a cut to save his life lol.

Yeah, I didn't look at it close enough.
For your second statement, you can kiss my ass.
For the third, what is your point? Are you saying DR is not fast? Is running a 10.44 into the wind at a college meet an embarrassment? -

And DR isn't missing a game either. My point is, the big boys get hurt too. -
WebFireSo what does your list prove? That backs from other teams are bigger? There is not proof in your post that says DR will get hurt.
Looks like you are the embarrassment. -
Trueblue23Michigan is 2nd on the nation in running the ball, generally the team that runs the ball better has a great chance of winning. I don't think IU can stop Denard AT ALL, he could have a HUUUGE day tomorrow.
Michigan- 45
Indiana- 35 -

Those in a hurry to make a fool of themselves never look at things close enough. Embarrassing.WebFire;503768 wrote:Yeah, I didn't look at it close enough.

For your second statement you prove you have an ignorant ugly mouth. Very embarrassing.
For your third statement. My point is you thinking DR is fast by saying he ran a 10.44 in college shows your lack of knowledge when it comes to track speed. VERY embarrassing.
