Any Chance that Ohio State Jumps to #1 Anyway?

Mallet choked plain and simple. Alabama will remain #1 but they are not clearly the best team, at least not from what I have seen.
I wouldn't say a 0% chance. Now, they definitely won't jump Bama (so I guess technically it's a )% chance of them jumping to #1), but I do expect OSU to pick up a few more #1 votes than they got last week. -
Fly4FunThis is the kind of thread that makes OSU fans look dumb. No, Ohio State will not jump Alabama. They were playing the 10th ranked team. Ohio State was playing a team with a now 16 game losing streak that is the worst team out there. OSU might pick up a couple first place votes, but there is no chance they jump them all together.
Also, there is no chance Boise jumps OSU either. if Boise wins, they'll have a home win against a team formerly in the top 25 but no wins against any current top 25 teams. -

Redfalcon makes this post and not one single Ohio St fan has agreed, yet this post makes Ohio St fans look dumb? -
Pick6Dont classify all OSU fans into one. It was ONE person that made this thread, which is also the ONLY person to think there is a chance

ZombieKillerFly4Fun, who cares if they aren't ranked anymore. Boise State could have 2 wins over ranked teams. That is more than OSU has done all season. OSU hasn't played 1 good team this season. They won't be going undefeated or playing in the title game.

OSU has a win over a ranked school in Miami, so right there your argument is flawed. I love when people close their mouths and let their assholes start talking, it makes for great entertainment. I'll bet you Zombie that Boise loses a game before their regular season is over. -
Cleveland BuckBoise won't lose until maybe their bowl game. No one left on their schedule is capable of even competing with a top 10 team, let alone beating one.
-
redfalconFresno and Nevada. Either one can do it.
-
Cleveland BuckNo, they can't. They might be able to sneak up on a team ranked in the bottom of the top 25, but they would have no chance against any top ten caliber team.

Miami was overrated and didn't deserve to be ranked at all.DeyDurkie5;497432 wrote:OSU has a win over a ranked school in Miami, so right there your argument is flawed. Yes, they can, and I am guessing that one of them will. Boise State isn't even close to being a top 10 team, IMO. -

Yeah cool, neither did Oregon State or Virginia Tech -

What is your top 10 (or top 15 since you say they aren't close)? -

A terribly embarrassing moment for you asking this question. WHO CARES??? The only poll that matters is the last BCS Poll. And #2 is just as good as #1.redfalcon;497001 wrote:Granted it was eastern, we did win by 53 points and Alabama looked shaky and only won by four. Hmmm..... -

Miami wasn't really a test?BuckeyeBlue;497171 wrote:Not even a little bit. The Buckeyes came in today and took care of their business, but Alabama showed more in their win than the Buckeyes did. I'm of the opinion that you don't know what kind of team you have until you see them tested. The Buckeyes haven't realy been tested yet this season. -
BuckeyeBluebeliever;497600 wrote:Miami wasn't really a test?
When I say tested, I mean you're down in the 4th quarter and have to comeback against a tough opponent. Miami was tough, but the Buckeyes had the game in control late. I think you really learn the character of a team when their backs are against the wall and they need to come up with that big turnover/defensive stop, and long game-winning drive at the end of a game. -
redfalconkaren lotz;497539 wrote:What is your top 10 (or top 15 since you say they aren't close)?
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Nebraska
4. Oregon
5. TCU
6. Florida
7. Wisconsin
8. Arkansas
9. LSU
10. Oklahoma
11. Stanford
12. Auburn
13. Utah
14. Arizona
15. Texas
16. Boise State
Given their 3 wins thus far, I really believe that any of the teams listed above could beat Boise State. -

Obviously most/all of those teams could beat Boise State, just like each team on there could beat any of the others. The only 2 teams you have listed that Boise would have a hard time competing with are Bama and OSU. Boise State beat TCU in the Fiesta Bowl last year and returned 21 out of 22 starters, yet you have TCU 11 spots ahead?? That makes little sense. -
davelmao boise at 16
-
jordo212000I expect them to get a few more #1 votes this week than they had previously

Seriously?
Texas just got wasted by UCLA. TCU? Did not Boise St take care of them last year and Boise St returns all starters but one?
You are really reaching, Boise St is a top ten team.
