  Very well could happen. If he gets to the right team/system he could be successful. Big guy, big arm and can make all of the throws. He isn't overly athletic and kind of reminds me of Joe Flacco a little bit.

  Wow. Your reading comprehension is extremely weak. I simply said that 4th and 1 call that Kelly made was "Charlie Weis-esque." I NEVER said that Kelly is Weis or just like Weis. It's not logical to label a coach 4 games into his coaching career at a school. If he was 3-1 or 4-0 it would be silly to compare him to Ara Parseghian and after a 1-3 start it would be crazy to label him another Charlie Weis. Furthermore, I don't recall ripping you after you made Weis-Kelly comparisons. I just think it's too early for that but I would have never disagreed with anybody, including you, for referring to that 4th and 1 handoff up the middle after a TO as a Charlie Weis move because it was. Doesn't mean I think Kelly is another Weis, but that was a Weis move right there. See the difference? Probably not.

  Ben was a little more mobile, wasn't he? I'm not saying he was a big scrambler, but could keep plays alive with his feet by getting out of the pocket, and then could find something downfield. I think Mallett is a little more of a stay in the pocket type.

  Yeah a little more mobile, but Mallet has the same type of ability to keep the play alive, just not quite as "fast"

  Kind of like Peyton. He manages to keep plays alive by simply using blockers and moving 1 step this way and then 1 step another way. Mallet reminds me of this in pocket presence ALONE. Im not comparing him to Peyton, but pocket presence is similar. Ben kind of moves around slowly, but i actually avoids guys differently.

  I suppose Pryor is head and shoulders above Mallet? Yeah, today's performance showed me that lol. 8-15 for 77 yards and a int.You were basing Mallet's performance against the #1 team in the nation. Pryor looked good against the #119 best team in the country (EMU). Keep playing cupcakes and boost those stats Pryor!!
  Illinois....lol, and thanks refs for the "non" facemask call and the 4th and 1 not getting the yard but giving it to OSU call. OSU is truly the 2nd best team in the country.
