Passing when up that much is pretty classless anyways. And im not just saying this bc its OSU. I said the same thing about Michigan runnin the score up with our 3rd string(well for some reason he was behind forcier today, i think hes 2nd string usually) true freshman qb in

One would think a Michigan fan would have noticed the Gardner came in before Forcier, and thus was the 2nd string QB.

Okay so 2nd string yet Forcier was in until he got hurt and thats what got Gardner back in the game, w/e. You're avoiding the focal point of my post

Could have been due to a shot Eastern Michigan took at Pryor's knees, or a very cheap and dirty shot that they took on an OSU punt returner, or maybe there's some history between Tressel and Ron English. It's rare for Tressel to run up the score like he did today, but he did at least have the 2nd & 3rd teams in....

Ok. To your point, Guiton was the 4TH QB to play in the game today.

Ehhh I don't think it was intentional at all. I thought it was at first, but the defensive lineman looked like he was falling.

Was the hit like the one on Carson Palmer? Or just kinda an accident

Well I think when a 4th string QB is in the game, it is hardly running it up when he throws the ball, especially when he has never thrown a pass in his career before today.

It was hard to tell, I only watched the hit once, it was definitely low, but might have been an accident.

The hit on the Punt Return was clearly dirty though, as the ball was still in the air when the defender drilled the returner....

I watched it again after the play, and it looked like the DL tripped over Adams. It was very reminiscent to the hit on Palmer, and it looked accidental.

So let me get this straight.. Alabama goes on the road against a top #12 team and wins and we beat the worst team in college football and jump them?

    LOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL

    Good God I hope not.
  • Automatik
I don't think the hit on Pryor was dirty at all, but the one on the punt return was definitely bush league.

Agreed. There is no way we deserve to jump them after today.
  • 1_beast
Shouldnt jump them. tOSU are not media darlings. Bama should hold #1 IMHO
  • ytownfootball
Who the hell ever would suggest jumping 'Bama is crazy. EU is turrible, though they did make a couple nice plays and put together a couple decent drives. This is a good spot for English to get his feet wet.

That would be me, and I was referring to Alabama's shaky showing against Arkansas, not OSU's win against EMU.

I jumped in a little late to the party and didn't read the thread in its entirety, but geesh man, I love the Bucks but 'Bama played #10 on the road and won. Will they drop a vote or two?, probably, but they'll overwhelmingly lead the way in total first place votes.

Just out of curiosity....what was the point spread for this game?
  • Big Gain
    Last I heard 43 1/2.
