SEC football games week 4! Huge matchups

  • cats gone wild
Alabama faces Arkansas, Auburn faces South Carolina, and LSU faces West Virginia. Three games with ranked teams playing each other that will change the polls in a huge way. Another game to watch is Florida and Kentucky. I wouldnt be surprised to see UK give UF a game.
Can Mallet take down Bama, or is Bama's running game too much?
Auburn vs USCe is a tossup game IMO
I dont know much about WVU, but LSU's defense will stop them IMO.

This w/e should show who's who.

Should definitely be a good week. I'm kinda bummed the Bama game isn't at night. I would like to see them play a full game, not just highlights.

I wont get to see any of the games, unless they are late at night. Leaving for Minnesota Saturday to watch a Vikings game. Wont be back for a week to watch DVR.

Arkansas defense is horrendous and they will get beat by at least 14 by bama. Auburn gets it done in an ugly way, they will get beat by USCe. LSU and WVU can both underperform at any time. I think LSU's defense will be too much for WVU.

Those games are great, but if I want to watch a bunch of thugs running around the field, I prefer the prison football.

    LOL

Bama will roll and show how overrated Arkansas is .

I wouldn't call this a HUGE weekend for the SEC. Alabama should throttle Arkansas; Auburn should handle South Carolina; West Virginia isn't as good as they usually are (which isn't saying a lot either); and Florida should trounce Kentucky. I'd be surprised if even one of these games is ever in question.

    Yawn.

I agree S_B, much better slate of games in the Big Ten this week:

    Austin Peay @ Wisconsin
    Ball State @ Iowa
    Bowling Green @ Michigan
    Central Michigan @ Northwestern
    Northern Colorado @ Michigan State
    Toledo @ Purdue
    Eastern Michigan @ Ohio State
    Temple @ Penn State
    Akron @ Indiana
    Northern Illinois @ Minnesota

I'm surprised we haven't heard more about this week's MAC/Big Ten Challenge.

Honestly man are you serious. This is a huge weekend for SEC football, and thats coming from a Buckeye fan.....

    Arkansas- wins in a upset
South Carolina- is my pick to win the east.
LSU- I think overall team speed will win this game
Kentucky- Pulls off the the upset...

Pretty good slot of games, in an otherwise boring college football weekend (though the Pac 10 has a couple good night matchups)

I think the Bama, Florida & LSU games could all turn into blowouts, but any of them might be close as well and are worth watching.

I'm most interested in the South Carolina & Auburn game. My initial thoughts are that South Carolina might finally compete in the SEC this year, this game will show a lot. My take on Auburn is they are a good team, but not great (probably 15-25 in the country).

Ummm, no ranked teams for any of the Big 10 teams this w/e coming. No wonder why the B10 isnt ever prepared for bowl games. One winning bowl season in 7 years

Dont worry, the Big 12 schedule has a batch of cupcakes in the oven too.

Well, he never said the big ten games were better, only that it wasn't a HUGE weekend for the SEC.

Bama/Arkansas is probably the only game I would watch and that's only to see if Mallet can do anything. I also have a feeling it will be Bama in a blowout.

I enjoyed Penn State's bowl win last year.

Great point. I wanted to make sure he knew what a yawner of a schedule looks like.

C'mon the BGSU vs scUM game should be a battle royale and if that Zips & Hoosiers game doesn't get your pulse pumping you're dead already.

Toledo is the best team any of the Big Ten teams will face in week 4. That is extremely sad.
