Oklahoma @ Cincinnati September 25

Anyone else going to this game? I have season tickets, but I just got my seating assignment for the game this morning, Section 126 Row 3...

anyone familiar with Paul Brown Stadium know how the game experience from this area of the stadium is? Looking on the website it appears that the view will be pretty decent.

If anyone else is going to the game and plans to tailgate, let me know, maybe we can meet up for a few pregame beers.

I'll be at the game Goosebumps. My tickets are in the same general vacinity as yours, I will be over a little further to the right. I don't have my tickets with me so I don't know exactly which section that is but I do kow it is in the lower bowl.

IIRC, the UC fans on this board are me, you, Dave and 3reppom. I haven't seen 3reppom post on here in a while but that does not mean he isn't lurking.

I'll be there, a couple rows up in the upper deck near midfield. can't remember the section. unfortunately i don't think i can make it down very early.

I'm thinking about heading to this game. I'm sure there will be a lot of people from back home coming down for this one...so I'd like to meet up with some people I haven't seen in a while and cheer on the Sooners.

Still trying to decide if I want to drop the cash on it though.

    Oklahoma by 40.

Thats the end of the field that I always worked on during Bengals games.

The view from there is awesome, but it will take you a little while to get used to watching things from the endzone is all. But once you get used to it, you'll realize that 3rd row anywhere is pretty damn good lol.

I was expecting Cincy to be one of the better teams in the Big East. Looks like losing Kelly really hurt them. Thought this was going to be close, now I say Oklahoma by 17

My wife works for UC and was able to get tickets for $15 a pop so we are going. I'm not sure where our seats are since the tickets haven't made it to the house yet. I'm up for a few beers before hand.

As bad as the Big East is, Cincy still has a shot.

I can see Oklahoma hanging 50 on the Cincy defense. Murray is going to have a field day.

I think I'd take Oklahoma -17 and feel fairly confident about it at this point.

If you put blank jerseys on Cincinnati, I couldn't tell them apart from a MAC team. This will be a bloodletting.

Anyone have any idea when the game time will be announced? Still TBA on yahoo.

    ummm I think I saw 6.
  • goosebumps
Yep, its at 6 on ESPN 2

I plan on getting down to the stadium around 3 or so.

You could get there at 5:45 and still find parking up front for this one.

    Incorrect.

I am going to venture there will be about 50K or more at this game. I was hoping for a sellout, but I think UC's performance this year and the anticipation of a blowout will keep some of the people who would have made it to the game home. Oklahoma is expected to bring a crowd of 5-10K. I had read on a UC board that they only sold 5,000 of their alloted tickets, but I am guessing many Oklahoma fans bought them on seconardy markets.

I'm hoping the Bearcats show me improvement from the last three weeks. They looked awful in their games against NC State and Fresno so as long as I am seeing progression as opposed to regression I will be happy.

We're talking about a football game, not your birthday party.

I'm not really sure who I want to win this one, since both teams can't lose. The Wife is a Nebraska fan which means she hates OU. Neither one of us likes UC.

I guess we'll pull for the 'undercats' in this match up, since my daughter attended UC for a couple of years...against my wishes.
  • Little Danny
Early estimates indicate a crowd over 50,000K. PBS holds 65K so barring a bunch of people changing their minds, it will not be a sellout.

I am getting ready to head down to tailgate and go to the game.

    Oklahoma: 14
    Cincinnati: 9
    9:57 left in 2nd quarter

24-22 Oklahoma leads w/ 8:02 left and Cincy gets the ball back on the Oklahoma 44
