You can't spell ViOLationS without VOLS, right Bruce ?
Dooley is coaching and teaching his team how to shower.

But a staph infection for defensive tackle Minor Bowens among others prompted an impromptu lesson on cleanliness for the Vols on Tuesday, and despite the laughter Dooley produced after practice Wednesday, it wasn't all a joking matter.
"We had, I told them, the worst shower discipline of any team I've ever been around. So we talked a little bit about application of soap to the rag and making sure you hit all your body. You know, you can neglect it trying to cut corners, and it shows in how you practice and elsewhere. I'm hoping we show some improvement in that."
They had a staff infection last year in Knoxville.

ptown_trojans_1Florida, I mean Demps, single handily beat Tenn badly. It won't be quite what Oregon did, but it will be close.
35-13. -
SpeedofsandI wonder how much closer the line gets with Rainey out.

Prolly not much...Rainey has done shit this year...and his Touchdown was off of pure luck. -

Was he not already listed as out or at least doubtful after the concussion last week?Speedofsand;483773 wrote:I wonder how much closer the line gets with Rainey out. -
Tiger2003Hoping Rocky Top can pull this one out...but I don't think it is going to happen.
-
vball10setTennessee's a mess, but IMO Dooley will do a good job, given time...Florida by at least two touchdowns
-
enigmaaxDidn't all you guys pick Tennessee in the pick 'em? (I did...painful as it is, I'm just afraid of this game.)
-
SpeedofsandIts a big distraction to the team. It had not been said if the concussion was serious enough to keep him out, but thats a moot point now. Like UGA, sooner or later the Vols will win one over UF. I hope its later. I'm just looking forward to a 7pm kickoff vs Kentucky so I can tailgate all day and not suffer in the noon 100 degree heat.

Yeah, that is what I've been thinking about in the offseason. The first two games didn't make me feel any better. If ever there's been a time for Tennessee to pull one out their ass, it seems like now. Plus, I heard Meyer talking about how he respects Dooley so much (he said something like, "it's the first time in a long time I've been able to talk to a coach from Tennesse"). Could be getting a little soft. -

TheMightyGatorsHopefully, Florida can get out to a little bit of a lead and take the crowd out of it. Tennessee showed they are willing to quit when they got down to Oregon. Missing Rainey shouldn't make a difference, he hasn't contributed anything this year.

lhslep134Gators roll 35-17.

SpeedofsandQ. How do you neuter a Vols fan?
A. Kick his sister in the jaw.
After getting routed by Oregon last week, they are removing the turf in Neyland stadium and covering the field with cardboard.
Dooley said he thinks his team looks better on paper.
