Wisconsin and Iowa would probably have something to say about that, but I actually have a life and a job with a salary so what the hell do I know?

    Enjoy your downs syndrome!

    LOL

Yeah, they've played absolute cake teams so far and are getting their SUPER HIGH AWESOME RANKINGS off the coattails of the big boys in the conference. I'd love to see these teams play in the Big Ten, they would beat Indiana or Minnesota, and lose to everyone else LOL

You didn't even understand what I was doing you dumb fuck...but that is not a suprise coming from you

You all prine for an SEC team to come up North during November for a game....but it looks like Penn State is the only school with nuts big enough to come down south for a game in the 100 degree heat in Late August/Early September

I don't buy LSU at all. I think Miss. St. gets em this week. South Carolina is also looking good. OBC is going to the ground game, they have a stud true frosh RB in Marcus Lattimore (#1 recruit last season), and if Garcia doesn't make mistakes it could be the year that Florida gets dethroned in the East.
  • ohiotiger33
Lattimore was not #1 overall-- and he was the #10. But he was the #1 RB. They will choke though and you can take that to the bank.

Oh really? How was I able to see parts of the OSU-USC game last year and a few plays in the 2nd half of OSU-Miami in 3D?
  • ohiotiger33
Oh yeah, you are right. Well, the season is young and it is the only game in 3D this week, so obviously ESPN has marked it down as important to them.

Come on cats. You know EVERY year there's like 2 or 3 SEC teams that crack the top 25 before week 6 that end up faltering because they are actually mediocre.

The 3 best teams in this league are Florida, Bama, and LSU (no particular order)

After those 3, the rest of the league IS mediocre, with South Carolina being the only team that should ACTUALLY scare the big boys.

It's how the SEC is every year. You have 1 or 2 elite/great teams, followed by 1 or 2 really good teams, followed by 8-10 mediocre teams.

    I know, just busting chops.

Speaking of ESPN 3D, I think it's pretty cool, but not worth the money, at least not until it becomes cheaper. In all actuality it just seems like SUPER HD with some 3D mixed in. Cool, but not one of those completely awesome things that are needed.

    I don't buy any Big10 team at all. 0.

I'll line up the SEC top to bottom with any conference you want. You pick the conference.

The Big Ten(throw in Nebraska too while you're at)

    Also remember these statistics:

The Big Ten has a winning record against the SEC overall, a winning record overall since the inception of the BCS, more National Championships, more Heismans, better academics, and has 4 of the top 10 all time winning programs in one conference.

The SEC will always be 2nd place, top to bottom, chew on that.

I'll use Chris Low and Adam Rittenberg's power rankings for matchups since those 2 know more than us.

Alabama v. OSU-- Toss up...at this point in the season hard to tell who is better
    Iowa v. South Carolina-- Iowa
Wisconsin v. Florida-- I like Wisky now but if you put a gun to my head who would win between the 2 at the end of the year I'd say Florida once they work problems out
Arkansas v. Penn State-- Probably Arkansas but I wouldn't rule PSU out in a matchup
Michigan v. Auburn-- Don't know enough about Michigan yet to say...last year they started out 2-0 also and everyone was on Forcier's nuts now he's 3rd string.
    LSU v. Michigan State-- LSU
Georgia v. Northwestern-- Northwestern. Georgia looks awful and lost.
    Purdue v. Kentucky-- Kentucky

MSU, Tenn, Vandy, Ole Miss are all equally as shitty as Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesota so those matchups have no bearing in my mind.

I'd swap Georgia and Northwestern, and Purdue and Kentucky and give the the win to Michgan straight up.

No team is as bad as Minnesota in either conference, Minnesota would win the Big East though.

The difference is, Ole Miss will make a bowl game, Minnesota will not. The ole win 3 of your 4 OOC games and stumble against the bottom feeders of the SEC to get a bowl game that we have to see year in, year out in the SEC.

Northwestern got lucky against the SEC's worst school Vandy. Georgia would clownstomp NW.

Ole Miss is far from being as bad as the B10's worst team.

On topic, I think the Iowas/Arizona game might be the best game to watch this w/e. I wouldnt be surprised for an upset.

Correction...the SEC has an overall winning record against the Big10, and they have more National Championships.
