Pryor & Brew crew after the game....

  Pryor called all the Brew Crew together after the game---every single one of them----and made them agree that NO ONE goes early to the NFL...period.....even if they are the #1 overall pick....they all come back....
  
  
  
  you can call it the "thrill of victory"---you can scoff if you want---you can say you will believe it when you see it......
  
  
  
  but I--for one---believe him.......
  
  Let's hope they follow through and have a great season this year and best ever next year!!!

  I think you'll see a lot more underclassmen stay this year than you normally do because of the possibility of a lockout. It doesn't do you a lot of good to leave early and get drafted, only to get locked out and not get paid.
  
  I don't doubt that this actually happened, however, it's the decisions they make in February that matter, not the decisions they make in September.

  Why would anyone want to risk it, insurance or not? If you are assured of a 1st round in the draft, you'd be a fool to not take it. That's my opinion. People can always go back to college, getting a chance to earn millions playing in the NFL doesn't happen very often.

  Maybe because if they stay and play with their friends, and just have a great time in college which they can't do over again, and they all decide to stay, maybe it's worth it to them.

  This is stupid. First off, who do you think is going to leave early? Adams and Shugarts probably wouldn't even get drafted. Brewster has a chance, but he's probably the only one. Plus, who cares what they said after the game. I'm not saying this didn't happen, or that anyone will leave, but let's not hold anyone to this because they spoke for a second after a big victory.

  I still think these multi-million dollar insurance policies pale in comparison to what they can potentially make in a career in the NFL, especially if they are a star and land endorsement deals. Let's say, for example, Willis McGahee would have had his career ended in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. I believe his insurance policy was in the neighborhood of 3 million or 4 million. That is nothing compared to what he will make over his career as a pro player. This is why all coaches tell their players to go early if they will be a high draft pick.
  
  That being said, I agree with most on here that since the NFL will most likely have a lockout next season, many players will not be going early.

  Who cares about the lockout, Pryor isn't leaving. Although he has improved, he is nowhere near an NFL QB, so of course he wants his buddies to return. Like I said, Brewster is really the only one who might have the option (and maybe Posey if he's considered a member of the Brew Crew?).
