good thing games are 60 minutes long. 27-14 against SJS is flat awful.

The Gophers have lost to FCS schools a few times before. If I recall they have a pretty heated rivalry with UND (meaning North Dakota, not the one in South Bend) and the Fighting Sioux (or whatever they are called now) have beaten them a few times in the past couple of years.

Outside of the Bronko Nagurski years in the early part of the 20th Century the Gophers are garbage (Glen Mason years weren't bad but consider they were still only in the middle of the pack in the conference). Face it, who the hell wants to go to Minnesota. It is winter 8 months out of the year and Prince is about the only good thing to every come out of that city.

Brewster should wear out his welcome pretty soon. That program is going backwards

Well if you're actually going to college to get an education (so this eliminates most of the football players), the Twin Cities is one of the three best metros for young professionals.

Let's cut the crap. Kids playing college education aren't there for the education. If it is was based on the best metro areas for young professionals everyone would be going to Rutgers, St. John's, Boston College, Northwestern, Temple, etc.

Could you post a link to this since everything that I know about D1 (FBS) & D1-AA (FCS) would not allow this matchup to occur.

Thanks for reporting something that doesn't matter much for this year. SJSU is much better this year, USF far worse. Have you ever actually watched a football game, or do you spend all of your time comparing records and scores?

qcb, you are right about San Jose State being a much better team this year. They were right there with Alabama... Have you watched every game played this year or have you compared scores and records and watched highlights?

Based on what, exactly? The fact that you have watched every single SJSU/USF game dating back to last year? haha. I really thought you were joking with your first comment but now I see you were being completely serious. There has to be a pretty serious talent deficiency to win 2 games in the WAC.

Edit: I just took a break from all that time I spend comparing records and scores. I was just looking online at preseason conference predictions. Every single one had SJSU finishing among the bottom 2 teams in the WAC. Meanwhile, USF was in the middle of the pack in the Big East. So I'm not sure where you are getting this SJSU>USF idea from and that SJSU is "much better" this year.
