Lou Holtz

Just turned to Mark May during halftime of the Florida/Miami (OH) game and asked, "Are you horse shit?" A more fair question has never been asked.

Hahah,. I must have been out of the room for that. Classic.
Although, I did enjoy Mark ripping Florida.

ha, must be a little cranky after being called a ghost on gameday.

mark may had just been talking about how great he expected Gilbert to be at Texas is year, and Holtz just laughed and turned to him and asked that. I thought it was hilarious that he just said that on live TV.

No, they're one of the best parts of college football season! Mark May was intolerable when Trev Alberts was paired with him, but Lou Holtz makes him look like a fool, he swears on air, and he's flat out hilarious! I love watching Lou Holtz to see what he will studder next.

I have to like Holtz because he is the most famous alumnus from my alma mater Kent State and he has said very positive things about my boys from Steubenville Big Red. Having said that, I think he is an idiot.

Thats funny ! Maybe he meant to ask 'Are you horth yet?' (voice)

One of Lou's sons lives in Daytona Beach, he calls high school games on the local radio.

While that may be true, he's an idiot who's forgotten more about football than you'll ever know.

    Are you horse yet?

No question thats what he said, other wise he would have either...

    1. Appoligized immediately on-air after the producer got a call from ESPN higher ups, trying to cover there ass from an FCC violation.

    2. He would have been fired.

Having said that, I think LH and Mark May are great for college football, love the court room segment in the eveing after the games are threw.

Are you horse yet... makes absolutely no sense.

It's hoarse... as in his voice not the animal.

He said, "Are you hoarse yet?" This was to imply that Mark May was talking waaaaaay too much.

I thought Lee Corso was the one hung like a horse?
  • darbypitcher22
I love Lou. At least he attempts to put May in his place when he's out of line and soundling like a jackass

No, you are mistaken. He has a baby arm.

So what's your point? I never claimed to know anything about football. That doesn't change the fact that Lou is an idiot.
