(15) Pittsburgh: 24
FINAL -
redfalconUtah wins it, 27-24.
and on a side note, this ties the MWC record for most consecutive home wins (also held by BYU, from a few years ago). -
krambmanFirst upset of the year. Although with this game being in Salt Lake and going to overtime it's not that big of an upset.
-
Little DannyNot an upset. Utes were favored to win by three. Looks like Vegas got it right.

Vegas may have had Utah as the favorite, but regardless of what Vegas thought, an unranked team beating the #15 team in the country is technically an upset (although that was just a preseason ranking, so take it with a grain of salt). -
Little DannyFor the life of me I did not understand the #15 ranking. Pitt started a freshman QB, lost most of their offensive line and best two TE's, and lost a couple of their best play makers on defense. Despite having the best recruiting classes every year at Pitt, Dave Wannstadt has never taken his team to an outright BE conference championship in five seasons. He continues to choke in games Pitt should win like he has done every year (North Carolina State, Bowling Green, Iowa a few years back). The AP writers and the coaches bought into the hype drummed out all off season in order to catapult Dion Lewis into the Heisman Trophy conversation.

MulvaThis was not an upset. Utah is very, very good at home.
