Brantley said he had not heard anything about that and did not say whether those players practiced. Gators coach Urban Meyer is not scheduled to talk to reporters until Thursday.
Mike Pouncey is not too fond of current freshman class
When you’re a top tier team like the Florida Gators, the incoming recruiting classes almost always need to be taken down a peg. After all, every one of these players were the big man on campus just a couple of months ago.
But they’re not in high school anymore. And this year’s freshman class at Florida is especially cocky, if you ask offensive lineman Mike Pouncey.
Here were his answers to three separate questions about the current freshman class.
“At the end of the day the freshmen need to just shut their mouths and just come play. They haven’t done nothing on Saturday, and most of the fans don’t even know who they are. Until they prove themselves they just need to sit back and let the older guys play.”
“That whole recruiting class is just cocky.”
“You always want to shut them up. I hate when guys come in and talk too much and don’t show nothing on the field. But with this great recruiting class all of them played good, it’s just time for them to shut up and play on Saturday.”
There’s video of Pouncey’s rant after the jump.

OneBuckeyeApparently they cleaned their lockers out after Pouncey roughed them up in practice.

jpake1That's funny. Frosh, smh.
-
MulvaThey're both at practice this afternoon, so apparently not leaving.

SpeedofsandGrowing pains, some of the upperclassmen Oline players teaching the 5* kids how to play bigtime college ball. Pouncey > Powell. Not sure what the deal was with Easley.
2 true freshmen already quit. Haden's brother and WR Coxson, both from Maryland.
Meyer has been holding a 'junction boys' training camp, the toughest since he's been in The Swamp. -
Benny The Jet2 things I got out of that Pouncy piece...1) Those frosh need to shut up and know their role. 2) Mr. Pouncy would benefit from more time in English class.

3 out of 5 posts spell 'Pouncey' correctly, and you can't. Which Big 10 English class are you in ? -

Wait a minute, you edited your post 5 minutes after originally posting it. Who's to say you didn't misspell it yourself?
It's a student athlete's name, spelling only counts when you get to the big leagues (most of the time). -
SpeedofsandI deleted 'everyone does kills people, murder people, and uhh, steals from me, steals from you, whatever..'

No kidding. He never would've typed such a stupid thing if he had gone to the University of Ohio State.
