Who Will Be The Michigan Head Coach in 2011?

Hb31187Why does nobody think Notre Dame can be a win for michigan? Its not like ND is gonna be anything special this year in comparison
-
mattinctownUConn- toss up
Notre Dame- toss up
UMass- WIN
BGSU- WIN
Indiana- WIN, especially if the refs have a say....
MSU- Probably MSU, but this could go either way
Iowa- LOSS
Penn State- LOSS
Illinois- WIN
Purdue- Toss up
Wisconsin- LOSS
Ohio State- LOSS
4 wins plus wins in three of the four I think could go either way equals 7-5. Do I HOPE they have a winning record? NO! However, the only games I don't see as winnable are OSU, Iowa, Wisconsin, and possibly Penn State. -

That offense was better than 7 other Big10 teams, last year, including Ohio State.lhslep134;459396 wrote:Rich Rod won't succeed in the Big 10, ever.
Maybe in the Big East against small defenses will the spread option work, but not in the Big 10 in the cold weather against big brute defensive lines. -
vball10set^^^you're correct, they were better than OSU by .5 in scoring offense (29.5 to 29.0),but when you're giving up 27.5 ppg (as opposed to OSU's 12.5),it's a moot point...IMO,he's got this year to get over .500 and get to a bowl game,or he's history

TiernanscUM loses opener to UConn (spoiling opening of the new and improved Big Outhouse). Unfortunately DickRod pulls a rabbit out of his ass in South Bend and then survives two scares at both UMass & BGSU. Indiana gets revenge for the "poker up the ass" officiating from last year. They somehow manage to squeak out a win against MSU and then go 1 - 5 for the remainder of the season and end up 5 - 7 and DR is packin' up the truck and movin' his hillbilly clan back to West Virginny where he is promptly lynched and hung from the New River Gorge Bridge. Can't wait to see it.

Didn't Purdue win the Big Ten running this offense. -

No. -
sjmvsfscs08I think they'll throw a ridiculous amount of cash at Nick Saban to be honest. Tell me you couldn't see it happening...

I could see it happening... -
WebFireWhat we have here is a bunch of people who predict the future based solely on the past. I guess that's why they play the game.

This is Michigan we're talking about. A school whose board is notorious for not wanting to spend money. I can't possibly see them throwing a ton of money at Saban because Michigan just isn't the kind of place that wants to spend $5 million a year on a coach. -

Okay, but look at their stats from their games against the leagues top 4.
It's easy to inflate your stats against shitty competition. -
Trueblue23IMO it will be either..
RichRod
Les Miles
Harbaugh
Urban Meyer -
karen lotzUrban Meyer?
-
Trueblue23Yep.
-
karen lotzWhat makes you think he would go to Michigan? He has ties to both ND and OSU and could have gone to ND twice. I don't think he leaves Florida until his "health problems" cause him to retire.
-
Trueblue23I'm not saying he would, but it's a small possibility. There were rumors before RichRod that Meyer had interest in Michigan.

vball10setinteresting--I've heard of a two-QB system, but three??
