Bobby Carpenter and Larry Grant are battling of the only open starting spot at linebacker. Diggs and JL will start at OLB and MLB respectively. -
gerb131Nail thats what I call him has put together a nice quiet career with the Pack now the Rams. Bobby Carpenter should fair better than he did in Dallas and should beat out Grant I would think.

Little DannyThey'll also have a a guy from UC returning kickoffs, punts and playing WR (Mardy Gilyard).
Sorry, just had to add my two cents. -
karen lotzThey have definitely produced some solid LB's recently. It would have been nice to see what Katzenmoyer could have done if not for injuries. Also, I haven't really followed OSU too closely but I don't remember Larry Grant at all. Did he play behind someone his whole career?

gerb131They will also have an Oklahoma quarterback who will take the ball from center, drop back, pump it, throw it, and then make the tackle.

He was a JUCO transfer, played 2 years I think and started his senior year. -

Sounds about right to me. Don't think he lit the world on fire but I remember him being solid left school in 08 or 07 I don't remember. -
sjmvsfscs08That is pretty neat.

yeah I did a quick search on him and I believe he was drafted in '08. When I first saw this thread I thought it might have been Cie Grant under an assumed name.gerb131;454684 wrote:Sounds about right to me. I LOVEEEEEEEE Mardy Gilyard's game. Very excited to watch him in the NFL.
They way he just lit a fire under UC's ass in the Pitt game last year after the return TD was absolutely awesome to watch. -

He is the backup for returning kickoffs and punts lol... And hes like 4th on the WR depth chart. I guess you UC fans have to have something to hold your hat one.Little Danny;454670 wrote:They'll also have a a guy from UC returning kickoffs, punts and playing WR (Mardy Gilyard).
