2011 Forward LaQuinton Ross Commits To Ohio State

Ross was the No.1 recruit nationally in his class after his sophomore year but fell that summer because of doubts about his work ethic. Carter said Ross was slowed by a severe ankle sprain and that the player still considers himself talented enough to enter the NBA draft after one season at Ohio State.

"He sees himself as a one-and-done," Carter said, "but at the same time, he wants to win a national championship."
From the Dispatch. Not sure I like that his AAU coach is declaring that Q sees himself as a 1 and done player before the start of his senior year in high school. Hopefully he has that kind of ability, but his whole recruitment/background seems a little shaky.

I wouldn't take too much from his AAU coach or any AAU coach for that matter. Most are just a bunch of wannabes' who want nothing but to ride along. Not all, but many are shady as hell. If that kid is THAT good..so be it. We'll find out when he steps foot on a college floor next year.
