Its a pretty cool thing even tho only it only has games 41-50 are out right now. Im interested to see where certain games rank. I think #1 obviously has to be Stanford/Cal game. -

trackandccrunnergorocks in the converstation of this article there was a Minny fan who mentioned that game. I think its a good one too. As a Florida State fan I could list about 10 games that might have a shot on this list. My favorite is from 2003 though Chris Rix 50 yard pass to beat UF at Ben Hill Stadium although I can admit UF got screwed on some calls during that game haha. The games Im most interested to see where they get ranked are BSU/OU 2007, UM/ASU 2007, and UM/OSU 2006.

killer_ewokThe 1993 loss to Boston College and the 1991 Orange Bowl defeat come to mind for this Notre Dame fan. The '05 USC game is already on the list. I think we'll see at least one of these two make it, but probably both.

BigAppleBuckeye#45 ... totally forgot that Louisville had such a huge lead in that game before Rutgers came back and won. Think about that, if Lousville wins that game, OSU plays them (and not Florida) in the '06 Title Game. And to think, I was happy they lost that night! grrrrr

Little DannyESPN is running a thread this week on the 50 Most Painful losses in College Football history. Attached is the first 10 in the series. What is the most memorable crushing defeat for a team you support?
For me as a UC fan, the most painful loss to me is the 2002 OSU/UC game (23-19). UC had the eventual champs on the ropes at Paul Brown Stadium with 1st and goal very late in the 4th qtr. If UC would have caught one of those two dropped passes in the end zone history would have been changed forever.

GOONx19I'd link you to the thread that already exists but I'm too lazy. Search "House of Pain".

Little DannyI see it but am unable to delete my thread. When did that change?

grodtNot being old enough to remember the games from the early 90s, that 2005 USC/ND game was just brutal. Also, last year's game, while probably not bad enough to make the list, was a really tough pill to swallow...especially watching our receiver fall down right before catching what would have been the game-winning (or tying I can't remember for sure) TD.

Lovejoy1984Is anyone doubting that OSU/Miami is #1?
There will be talk of the "Questionable" PI call, and talk of Miami being the team of the Century, etc.
Counting on it now.
Not that it should be mind you, but ESPN still has issues with this game, so I have a feeling it could be up there. -

I dunno, I was a little upset a week or two ago that I couldn't remove one of mine. Must've come with the new software. -

I don't think it will be #1 but definately in the top 5. It just completely lacks the rivalry part of the criteria for this list. I agree with you that ESPN hates that OSU won this game and will never PI call go away.HighRoller74;439721 wrote:Is anyone doubting that OSU/Miami is #1?

Little Danny^^^ Knowing ESPN it will either be Miami/Nebraska (Huskers go for two) or Miami/FSU (Wide Right I and II). They have a hard on for those games and we subjected to it numerous times each football season.
