I knew this was BS from the beginning. Just saw the letter from Mike Garrett to Jeremy Foley.
For Kiffin NOT to have had a hand in this the following things would have had to apply:
1. Dillon Baxter, as an incoming freshman, would have to have working knowledge of recruiting rules, especially those pertaining to contact after sanctions are imposed for him to have raised a red flag.
2. Dillon Baxter, as an incoming freshman, would have gone right past his head coach and met with the compliance office (whom he probably barely knows) without Kiffin's (who he knows very well) knowledge.
3. Dillon Baxter, as an incoming freshman, correctly guessed all of Lane Kiffin's main rivals and recruiting competition. -
SpeedofsandUSC also wrote apology letters to Alabama, Washington, and Oregon. Garrett is on his way out, USC is getting a new Pres. next month.

darbypitcher22USC just seems to be in a death spiral of bad pub lately...

TheMightyGatorsThis had Lane Kiffin written all over it from the start. What a d-bag.

I didn't link it but another thread says RB coach McNair is gone.
also on College Football Live now on ESPN, the Trojans are banned from the USA Today Coaches Poll.
all kinds of rumors on wearesc. Mitch Mustain to the Vols ? http://www.modestopress.com/mitch-mustain-leaving-usc-transfers-to-tennessee-vols-to-get-last-laugh/899/
how's that for piling on ? LOL -
gamauterUSC knew what it was getting when they hired Kiffin. UT was thrilled to get rid of him. He will hurt the program more than the sanctions ever could.
