Kelly will end up at Florida after Meyer goes to Notre Dame.Cat Food Flambe' wrote: Brian Kelly is there for the taking.
The ESPN Radio guys, though, were giving Urban Meyer some heavy consideration. -

No, it's none of that. I don't feel the need to spout off about things that I'm not sure of. The clue I have is from a source but you don't see me on here claiming that I have learned something from a very reliable source, etc. There is no charade. I don't count my chickens before they hatch. If you want to know that bad.....go find it.redfalcon wrote:
How about you just tell us? Oh, becausekiller_ewok wrote:
Nope.Skyhook79 wrote: I think ND fans think they are getting Brian Kelly but I don't see that happening.
We'll see what happens if what I've been told comes to fruition.
A) you probably don't have a clue
B) your supposed source is no doubt nothing more than some random guy posting on the bleacher seats forum
C) by keeping up this sharade, yÓucan easily claim that you were right all along come january when someone new is brought on. -
CharlieHogLes Miles might be available.

tcby99Miles will sit tight till they run RR out after next year.

CitybuckWhats amazing is the ND fans who said that Charlie would take them to a championship game every year when he was hired, are no where to be found now days...

No where to be found because there never was anyone saying that. Find a buckeye thread and continue an OH cheer.Citybuck wrote: Whats amazing is the ND fans who said that Charlie would take them to a championship game every year when he was hired, are no where to be found now days... -

Mooney44CardsMy mom ran into Dee Stoops today at the grocery store. My mom, being the Notre Dame fan that she is (love you mom!) asked her about the rumor.
"Well, its always been his dream job....(yayyyy).....but he's building a huge new house out in Oklahoma (booooo)."
To which my mom said "Oh I'm sure theres some rich ND alumnus out there who will buy it."
Good answer mom, haha.
edit: Dee Stoops is Bob's mother. -

Does this upset loss today, mean that ND won't be attending a BCS bowl ? -

You cannot stop the inevitable, only delay it. UNfortunately Kevin White and some of the powers that be at Notre Dame have been very successful at delaying the inevitable. I have a feeling Jack Swarbrick will land a top tier coach and the inevitable will finally occur....Notre Dame is again a top 5 program.ccrunner609 wrote:

Notice that I said "IF" it's the coach that I'm hearing. If the guy I'm hearing gets hired.....I'll admit it. My enthusiasm was tempered big time the last few years and most ND fans that I know were the same. I wasn't on here rambling on that ND would do this and do that the last few years.ccrunner609 wrote:

All? You might wanna go back and check mine and even Mots while you're at it, fam.ccrunner609 wrote: ^^^Remember the preseason threads on the huddle about how many wins they would have? All of you betting on 10-11 wins and I put 6. I got bashed. Look who is laughing now. -

Your cookie is in the mail. Under a good coach Notre Dame could be good enough this year to be 11-0 right now. None of their losses were very convincing this year. They've lost 5 games by a total of 21 points.ccrunner609 wrote: ^^^Remember the preseason threads on the huddle about how many wins they would have? All of you betting on 10-11 wins and I put 6. I don't recall making that prediction but if I did.....8 wins and they have 6 wins. Way off? I don't think so. All of the undefeated and 11 win predictions and I might end up being 1 or 2 off. That's not bad or that far off.ccrunner609 wrote: LOL, THey still lost and I thought you had a good coach. THey paid him a billion dollars and a 10 year contract with someone elses players.
Even the ND administration is dillusional just like their fans. So Killer you predicted 8 or 9 games. Still way off. -
killer_ewok
I'm not sure that I actually predicted that. Anyways, it's not that far off.ccrunner609 wrote: so you were 75%. thats a C -
killer_ewokAgain, I don't recall predicting 8 or 9. You claimed it. You prove it. I'm Mr. Cautious Optimism. Get that weak stuff outta here without facts to back it up.

I don't recall predicting 8 or 9 wins. You made the claim. The onus is on you. Prove it.ccrunner609 wrote: Oh please, you know what thread I am talking about. Every poster on that thing predicted a season with at least 8 wins.
I have never seed a ND fan predict .500. -
athlete37If it's not Stoops, you can call me out, not killer ewok. That being said... even if I gave a damn about what a bunch of buckeyes behind on computer screen thought, I wouldn't be worried about what I just said.
-
killer_ewokAs I've said before.....I'm buying what athlete37 is selling so they can call me out too if they wish. I don't claim to know it for sure but I believe it.

Mr PatCC, they still have one more game to play (which they'll probably lose) and a potential bowl. You could be right or you could end up with a 75% which as you said is still a C. Hell, Notre Dame wins out and they would have (if my math is right...) 8 wins. Now before you say, "LOL YOU THINK THEY GET 8 WINS LOLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!111!11!!!!ONE!!!111!!!1" Keep in mind I highly doubt it happens.
As for predictions, I gave a prediction a loooong time ago on a score and I was unbelievably wrong so I stopped making predictions. I know I never once gave any prediction so before you get all huffy and puffy, not everyone said anything about how many wins.
"Right now you're a 6-5 football team. That's not good enough for you, and it's certainly not good enough for me."

ORLY?! -
Mr PatBut you know what? At least this terrible team beat Purdue.
-
Swamp FoxI guess I have a hard time understanding how we can argue this long over which huddler is right about the number of wins he predicted for Notre Dame this season. 1) Who cares? and 2) There are well over 1 billion people living in China who don't care one bit either, and if I were living in China, you could count me among them. By the way, for the record, I had predicted that Michigan would end up 6-6 this season. I think I should get a cookie also!
-
redfalconFor next year I see Notre Dame winning 4 or 5 games. Army, tulsa, western michigan, and then they will probably knock of a big ten team, maybe two. It all depends on how good michigan, michigan state, and purdue are.

sleeperND will remain a perennial bottom feeder no matter who their coach is. ND fans are THE most delusional in all of college football and you can take that to the bank.
The better question is, what bowl game will ND get BLOWN out in this year?
