Ever wonder how does it feel to be a WR for the Buckeyes?

Of course I'm biased. And I'm a Michigan fan. But I always gotta pull for the TCC alums. It's true too, Pryor always looks for Posey first. Always.LTrain23 wrote:

Either way, we put WR's into the NFL and we also win 81% of our games under Tressel. Obviously winning is important, so at the end of the day, I'm sure everybody is happy. -

Uh...Posey is the #1 option WR on the team...shouldn't he be looking there first most of the time? You don't think Henne wasn't looking for Edwards first on 80% of their passes?TolCentralCath wrote:

There is one QB that won't look elsewhere, his name is Braxton Miller. Look him up, he may be the main reason that OSU backed off Gardner. Pryor will be here all 4 years anyways.Mr. 300 wrote: It does concern me that Pryor's lack of skills is going to keep us from landing the big time WR's over the next year or so. Posey is the #1 receiver, most QB's look to their #1 guy first. -

Yes, but even when Posey is defended, Pryor either still throws it to him or waits until he can get open. -

I don't disagree. And thats something Pryor has to work on. And I feel he will get better. I thought he got better the last handful of games. He looked off on the WR quite often and went to the RB's a few times each game.TolCentralCath wrote:centralbucksfan wrote:

Why doesn't someone start a thread about how it would feel to be a WR on Florida this year. Their leading receiver is the TE with 46 catches. The leading WR for them only has 38 catches on the year. -

Damn it.....damn it all to hell. If ever there was somebody that needs to leave this team early to go pro, it is Pryor!!!!! -

I know your reasoning and how much you dislike Pryor but you need to realize that he is very similar to Troy Smith in regards to coming into OSU without being taught how to throw. Smith developed later in his career after taking over the starting role, Pryor was thrown into the starting position because of an inept offensive line that couldn't keep Boeckman on his feet.Mr. 300 wrote:devil1197 wrote:

I've already seen progression in Pryor's decision making. Does his passing need improvement, hell yes but he is on the same track as some of the best dual threat QB's (Smith and Young).
Whether you like it or not, OSU just went through their toughest stretch of games without a loss. Pryor had 1 turnover and made plays not only with his legs but with his arm. He may not throw up huge passing stats but he has made big plays when needed and significantly cut down on poor choices and turnovers.
And these improvements are being made by a kid who was obviously not coached to throw in HS. He will get better over time just like Smith and Young did. -
ytownfootballIt's hard to imagine our WR feel to awful bad, they're going to the Rose Bowl. It's why you put on the Scarlet and Gray in the first place. You put it on to win the Big-10. You put it on to get yourself some gold pants. You put it on to have a shot at the National Title Game. You put it on to have a better than average shot at getting drafted into the league.
Why in the hell should they feel badly? -
Cleveland BuckPosey's going to be a first round pick, so I doubt he will be too upset when he is cashing those checks. Carter may also be a first rounder when he's done.

And that wasn't even really his fault. The ball hit the WR in the hands and deflected into the defenders hands. TP needs to get that deep ball down and he'll be much much better.devil1197 wrote:
