I'd put Iowa over Boise State in a heart beat. Stanzi was a main part of their team and they wouldn't have lost to NW if he played the entire game. They did beat Arizona who has some quality wins and just took Oregon to the wire in OT. They also beat Wisconsin and PSU.jordo212000 wrote:
Ummm, this argument has nothing to do with Ohio State per se haha. It is in regards to the utter garbage that is the Big 10 conference. The real argument is that some feel that putting 2 loss Penn State (who didn't beat anybody of relevance) would be a better move to make than putting Boise State in the BCS gamedevil1197 wrote: Like I said earlier.
When OSU wins on January 1st, they will have more BCS wins and appearances over 90+% of the BCS eligible schools.
Complain all you want but one win will push OSU right back into the top heading into next season. -

Iowa is a bit too inconsistent for my tastes. I do think they have a resume that is more competitive with Boise than PSU, but its so hard to ignore the dogfights with Northern Iowa and Arky State. I have a feeling that Iowa will get destroyed if they go to a BCS game.devil1197 wrote:

I am not taking away the Boise win over Oregon but that is their best win.jordo212000 wrote:

Oregon is clearly playing better offensively now than when they met BSU early in the season.
I know Iowa lost two but they weren't too terrible teams NW 8 wins and OSU 10. Also, Iowa was without their starting QB and RB for both games basically. Before that they were undefeated. They need to be looked at. They have a solid defense and some playmakers on offense. -

you don't think has anything to do with Boise State's defense and gameplan?devil1197 wrote:

Not as much as it has to do with the emergence of LaMichael James and Masoli getting into a groove.jordo212000 wrote:
