The 2010 Reds are a House of Cards
-
Mooney44CardsWhich is about to fall.
This team will not make the playoffs. This is not an overreaction to another loss, this is reality sinking in that WE AREN'T THAT GOOD. Our lineup has been hitting out of their minds. It will not keep up. The team is good, because they can beat up on bad teams, but I wouldn't even put money on them winning ONE game in the playoffs, thats how little faith I have in the lineup hitting good pitching, and the pitching even holding a good lineup to less than 5 runs.
The record is a facade precipitated by the good fortune of playing in a BAD division.
I like the direction the Reds are going in, but I don't believe in them unless they are playing a bad team.
I'm not jumping off the bandwagon, just jumping off the magic carpet that everyone has been on for a month. This team blows compared to the cream of the NL, not to mention wouldn't even be a top 10 AL team. -
Mooney44CardsI'm so drunk I put this in the wrong forum. Move it.

Big XII actually. -
jordo212000I think the Reds and Cardinals are going to be going back and forth all season. Neither team is really constructed to run away with the division. I thought the Reds were probably a year away before the season, but I'm not going to trash them now. You've been doing this for a while. Every time they go through a skid you get on here and lament about how fraudulent they are.

Agreed. The Cardinals have holes. They are very beatable. They aren't going to run away with anything. It's more likely that Chicago gets in the race before either Cincinnati or St. Louis runs away with it.jordo212000;392746 wrote:I think the Reds and Cardinals are going to be going back and forth all season. The fact that the Cardinals picked up Jeff Suppan off the scrap heap tells me everything I need to know about their pitching. They're in the same boat as the Reds -
georgemc80Don't have a clue where this team will go...but I am enjoying every minute I can of Cincinnati Red competitive baseball
