Really? Now he goes on to qualify this by saying that Pryor was prized for his athleticism and physical abilities while Miller is really a true QB, but Pryor was still a significant pickup at QB. And Troy Smith was the last player offered by Ohio State that year and wasn't ever expected to play QB. I'd say his production far exceeded his hype. Clearly this guy has no clue what he's talking about. In what could be Ohio State's most significant pickup at quarterback in close to a decade . . . You might have to go back to the Class of 2002 when the Buckeyes signed Troy Smith to find the last time the Buckeyes landed a QB whose production at the position matched the hype.
I'm thrilled he's staying in Ohio to be a Buckeye. -

Pryor was the no. 1 recruit in the country, for God's sake. -

The dispatch said he's had injury problems the last two years.Red_Skin_Pride;377721 wrote:I like that fact too, but his numbers are pretty low for 24 games...by his yardage, and playing in 24 games, he's passing for just over 115 ypg, and rushing for like...40? How do you get to be a top recruit in the nation with those kind of numbers? Those stats can't be right. Hell my little piss ass tiny HS had a kid throw for 2,000 and run for 1,200 just last year alone in 10 games...he's started 3 years, with 1 year to go and has passed for almost 4,000 yards and ran for another 2,500 in 30 games..so...that CANT be Miller's career #'s can it?

From the video I posted he doesn't sound too bad. He didn't say much but nothing out of the ordinary for a young man his age. Go back and listen to Ted Ginn early in his career or the Sugar Bowl interview with JaMarcus Russell when he was standing next to Troy Smith and you will hear two guys who can't speak English. -
skankGood Ohio boys stayin in Ohio....That's what I'm talkin bout.

What high school is that? If it's what I think it is, that kid is legit. -

Jason Hoar from Utica.

dwccrewGreat pickup for the Bucks. Recruits will follow him.

I like the fact he appears to be a pass first QB as opposed to taking off and running right away. The article also said he has missed 9 of 33 games due to injuries. Does anybody know what type of injuries he has sustained?
I believe during his soph year, Miller sustained a fairly serious knee injury. I don't know the extent, if it was ACL or what. Having not seen him play, I do know some coaches in that area who have been extremely high on him since he stepped foot in high school. Some even saying he was better then Pryor was in HS. We'll see. He obviously has great potential. -

Tigerfan00The captions were pretty good in that Jamal Charles interview. It sounds like he might be a little slow
