A Question for Older Michigan Fans

I was just curious what everyone thought about Gary Moeller.

Do you think the program would have been better off he he hadn't resigned in 1995?

Would we have been the same, better, or worse? I'm talking on the field and off.

He seemed to do some good things while being the head guy, or was he just fortunate enough to have a ton of talent? I was 5 when he took over and only 10 when he stepped down, so I really don't remember anything.

Things would have imploded at some point because Moeller was a drunk. Eventually, that type of problem takes you down...hard.

Before that happened, would Michigan have stayed up where they were with him, or was his first 2-3 years just loaded with talent?

Never liked Moeller. He took over a great program...that was it.

Moeller "resigned" because the money people wanted him out. Alumni can do that to a coach. A prediction; RR will not coach more than 12 more games at UN.

The DUI forced him into resigning.
