Pick a quarterback
-
allstarYou get your choice. Any quarterback in college football to build a team around (consider Sam Bradford healthy.) Who do you pick and what offense do you run?
-
bo shemmy3337Since this is college football I would have to say Tim Tebow at Florida. They just fit together perfectly. Also Pryor would run the spread option very well as he is an incredible runner.
-
allstar^^^They don't have the talent around them. You start with a blank roster, and build around him. Shoulda stated that more clearly.
-
Swamp FoxTebow. He wins. I'd run the same offense Florida runs, and when I needed a yard in a key situation I'd snap it to Tebow and get the heck out of his way.
-
bo shemmy3337So now I say Tebow and the Florida roster lol.

This year, its all about the Florida defense. Without that talented bunch and help from SEC officials, the Gators would have at min 2 losses.bo shemmy3337 wrote: So now I say Tebow and the Florida roster lol. -
allstarPersonally, I go with Ryan Mallet. He's a very good drop back passer, and I put him in a pro-style offense, running a lot of play-action to keep the defense off balance so they can't take advantage of his limited mobility.

vball10setI like Andrew Luck from Stanford--size,speed,arm strength--and SMART!!!
-
3reppomI'd take Matt Barkley and run a pro style offense.

HeathAlum21Are we talking about building a college team or a NFL team?

So you would pi ck USC then? and be fine with not being number one or two in the country? The idea is best case scenario. Now Mallet at USC would be something special IMO. -
Cleveland BuckIf we are picking a QB to build a team for one year, I take Tebow with Florida's scheme, CJ Spiller at RB, cherry pick the best WRs and OL, and Alabama's D. Barkley will be special in a couple years though.

NFL team-Bradford -

BCSbunkKellen Moore put him on Alabama run multiple sets. Next choice would be Ryan Mallet also on Alabama.

If we are starting a college football team, then Tim Tebow has to be there. Tebow is one of the greatest college players of all time. People seem to fuse all of a player's accomplishments together. A player can be a college football legend and be a bust in the NFL, and there is nothing wrong with that. Tim Tebow IS one of the college football players of all time.ccrunner609 wrote: McCoy or Bradford easily. Tebow wouldnt be in the top 10. -
Elliot StablerTim Tebow and it's not even close
-
Trueblue23The kid from Stanford or Mallett
-
darbypitcher22I like Tony Pike.
-
Skin_ManMasoli Oregon.
Run the spread -
darbypitcher22Masoli would be a good pick as well if you've got guys around him that can not only produce when they have the football but carry out fakes like his supporting cast does. They are one of the best "faking" teams I've ever seen, where all of their players go balls out like they've got thefootball on every play

skyler12Pryor, and you say WHAT? I say why not, TP is a very balanced QB, he can run, option, and pass. He does need some improvement, but thats good. However the one thing I would have done, which would have been Redshirt him, Why? Boeckman was good to play his senior year, i would have played Boeckman.
If i had a team with TP, it would be a multible Offense, when i say multible, i mean it. From 5 wide shotgun all the way to the maryland I.
BTW Pryor will win heisman his Senior Year! -
Elliot Stabler^^^
He might....if he moves to WR
