Top 5 Teams In Recruiting for 2010? Preseason Top 5?
-
cats gone wildUK still has a good chance at T. Jones and Leslie. Memphis, OSU and UNC have nice classes coming in. Who are your top 5 teams in recruiting for the 2010 class?
Which are your preseason top 5 teams to start the 10-11 season? -
killer_ewokSyracuse has a top 5 recruiting class with Fab Melo and Dion Waiters.

hoops231) UNC
2) OSU
3) Memphis
4) Syracuse
5) UK/Duke/etc..
I'd have to double check. -
Swamp FoxI know without looking at any lists that Thad Matta's Buckeyes will have another stable of thoroughbreds in Columbus waiting to kick off another great season. I also know I may have to buy a program a few times until I memorize the names but I also know, because my fellow huddlers have been very helpful in reminding me, that this is the way the college game is played today. If you want to be able to compete for National Titles you have to go out each year ant out-recruit your competition and Coach Matta is a master at this. Hopefully, this coming season, the Buckeyes can match the recruiting efforts of Fred Taylor back in 1960 when the Buckeyes defeated California 75-55, for the Buckeye's most recent NCAA Title. Go Bucks! End the dry spell!

Azubuike24For now, you have to put UNC, Memphis and OSU ahead of Kentucky. However, with Leslie, Jones and Ross still out there, I do think the Cats can probably secure the top class if they add 2 of those 3.
In terms of teams, I have to say Duke if Singler returns, followed by Michigan State. After that, it's really up in the air. -
chs_redskinsdo you guys think that ohio states incoming class will be 1 and doners?
-
Swamp FoxI'm almost afriaid to venture this opinion, but yes I do, at least a majority of them, but then Coach Matta probably already knows who he wants to go after five years down the road, so fear not. The Bucks will have another blockbuster recruiting year again next year.

devil1197I like OSU's class because it has a mix of potential 1 and done guys along with multiple year players who are pretty solid.

Having seen most of them play...no, I don't think there will be one, one and done in this incoming class.chs_redskins wrote: do you guys think that ohio states incoming class will be 1 and doners? -
Big GainI think Thomas won't be happy if things don't work out for him to be one and done.

You honestly think with what OSU has returning, and the talent coming in, that Thomas will get what he needs to be one and done? I don't. Welcome to big time college bball. It doesn't always work out to what the individual wants. And its Matta job to keep chemistry within the "team". And I think he will do that along side of some very good senior leadership returning next year.Big Gain wrote: I think Thomas won't be happy if things don't work out for him to be one and done. -
Big GainYou honestly think you pay any attention to what is said?? Please show us where I said that "Thomas will get what he needs to be one and done". The ONLY thing I said about Thomas is that he will be disappointed if the chips don't fall right for him to be one and done. He is the only player in this class wanting, desiring, wishing, hoping to be a college student for no more than a few months. He's the only player in this class that would have liked to go to the NBA out of high school if the NBA would have allowed it.

Good to know that you personally know Thomas. Hope you gave him some good advice on how to deal with adversity.Big Gain wrote: You honestly think you pay any attention to what is said??
