Everytime I watch these teams on TV I always see......

Game at Hawaii-Hawaii always starts a fight.

Game at Ohio State-Guy with cowboy hat and Ohio State cape.

Game at Rutgers- The weather always seems miserable with moderate rain.

Game at Wyoming- I've never seen a game on TV at Wyoming.

Game at Oregon- Cheerleaders wearing something new and skanky

Game at West Virginia- TV close up of some WV fan wearing a West "Fucking" Virginia shirt.

Game at Virginia Tech- TV shot of the lunch pale award T hands out during the week.

Game at Michigan- highlights showed during some part of game of loss to Appy St.

    Game at USC- Song girls

Game at Texas- Shot of Bevo looking pissed.

Game at Florida State- Pregame shot of sticking the spear in the 50 yard line.

Game of Miami- TV interview of some former thug who used to play there talking about the U.

Why do OSU fans like that Buckeye Guy or Man or whatever you guys call him so much?

I saw him at Easton one time wearing all that shit. It makes no sense to me to support a guy who clearly has mental issues like that.

Don't confuse media coverage with fan adoration, they're quite mutually exclusive.

SEC Games - Their SEC team is losing so they start cheering for another SEC team!! :)
Also SEC Games - Florida isn't even playing, its like Ole Miss vs Vandy and the topic is Tim Tebow!

I've seen him out at least twice doing appearances at events for elementary and middle school students with behavioral or learning disorders. I would assume he was a volunteer as everyone else was. I do not think the dude is crazy.

Game at Wyoming- I've never seen a game on TV at Wyoming. (Wyoming has football? I thought they just put them on NCAA games so the state would be represented. LOL)

Game at Michigan- highlights showed during some part of game of loss to Appy St. (This has been shown maybe twice in the last two years...you are more likely to see the Rich Rod stat on how he won a bunch of games at Tulane)

Game at USC- Song girls (Keep 'em coming!)

Game at Florida State- Pregame shot of sticking the spear in the 50 yard line. (This is a guaranteed clip every week...at least at FSU, cant remember if they do it on the road or not. It is pretty cool)

Game of Miami- TV interview of some former thug who used to play there talking about the U. (at least its not the every week bench clearing brawl it used to be...they even threw down with FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL one year)

Really? That's funny, because I watch a lot of teams that have guys that get up and do the superman pose for making a tackle at the line of scrimmage, a ball carrier that gets up and celebrates like he just scored a TD after he gains 4 yards...Miami vs. Georgia Tech is a GREAT example from last year. There were a couple threads started on the old huddle about how the taunting and UNNECESSARY celebrations in that game were completely ridiculous. Another team that jumps to mind, year in and year out, is LSU. They had a DT a few years ago when the won the NC that EVERY SINGLE TIME HE MADE A TACKLE AT THE LINE, he got up and swung his arms in the air and strutted around like he was half retarded and just won a prize or something. Never seen a more "chippy" team than OSU? Did you happen to watch the Rose Bowl? It's like Oregon's offense hadn't had a run longer than 5 yards all year...or at least you would think by the way they celebrated every one over 5 yards...You must not watch much football. Unless it's a TD, I don't hardly ever see them celebrate at all, let alone do anything that's far and beyond ridiculous.

LSU Games- one absolutely positively pitiful call that disrespects the institution of horrible calls.

Take off your Maize & Blue glasses and we'll talk. Or...here's a novel idea, provide some substance to back up your broad brush strokes.

Forget it...save yourself the time, you'll not find more than 2 examples if you're lucky, which won't be enough to substantiate your claims so you'd best be served to shut the fuck up.

Shouldn't he enroll in the behavioral disorders aspect? I mean I'm all for supporting your team..but c'mon.

Trying to stear this thread on topic

Florida State (Up to this season)- Bobby Bowden and the clip of the "Wild Right" game ending
Texas Tech (Up to this season)- Mike Leach's office decked out in Pirate memorabilia
Rutgers- Some reference to Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi
Northwestern- Stands filled to capacity with fans from opposing teams (especially B10 games)
Michigan State- A shot of Tom Izzo in the crowd; inevitably one of the sideline reports talks to the bball Coach
    Wisconsin- same with Barry Alvarez

Do I have time to sit through and cut up film from the last 20 years? No. Watch OSU games not as a fan but to look at how they really play and you will see that every shoving match and every "bump" as they walk back to the huddle is initiated by OSU players (typically in big games). It is almost as they have been coached to start the altercation because everone knows the retaliator gets flagged.

My dad is as big of an OSU fan as they come (and an extremely obnoxious one at that) and he is the one who brought OSU's "chippyness" to my attention. I went to high school with a guy who played for OSU and he even said that it was so bad in PRACTICE that there was a fight every day. He still says to this day that he was always on alert in practice because he didnt want to get sucker punched.

For the proof you want...I will just give you the upcoming season. Watch closely, not as a die hard fan, but as a neutral observer and you will see it.

Now...are they the only team in the country who does it? Not even close. Every team has chippy guys. OSU just has an abundance of them.

If I had posted my comment on a forum that isnt loaded with OSU fans...I guarantee you that people would have agreed.

By the way...the post about Tom Izzo at MSU games is so dead on its not even funny. They show him all the time.

And the one about the kickers at OSU...also true. My friend who played there always stood by the kickers net when they were warming up because he knew that the camera would cut to them at some point. He was on TV every single game for 4 years, even when he wasnt in the game.
