Could the UConn women
-
LJBeat a men's D-III team?
-
killer_ewokNo way.
-
Hb31187No
-
CinciX12I think they could. Maybe like Ohio State Lima or something?
-
Cleveland BuckNot a chance.
-
Lovejoy1984Nope. They'd get ran off the floor.
The size disparity is just to big to overcome.
How big is Tina Charles 6'4" Tops?
A lot of D3 schools have post players close to 7 feet. She'd stand no chance, they'd just back her down, turn around and have an un contested layup. -
devil1197The only player for UCONN that plays anything like a guy is Moore.
They would get killed on the boards and in the paint. -
CinciX12
A lot, but certainly not all.HighRoller74 wrote: Nope. They'd get ran off the floor.

LJSo you guys don't think they could beat the worst D-III team in the country?
-
LJ
Yeah but Jeff Gibbs is considered the best center in D-III of the decade and he was only 6'3, so I wouldn't say that a lot of those guys are all that good.HighRoller74 wrote: Nope. They'd get ran off the floor.

wildcats20They could beat some teams. I went to a D-3 school and there is no way our team could beat this team.
-
CinciX12I really don't think some of you guys know what lower tier DIII basketball looks like haha.
It is flat out terrible. -

Not even close.LJ wrote: So you guys don't think they could beat the worst D-III team in the country? -
Hb31187I forgot about Gibbs...talk about a monster
-
devil1197They would beat some small D3 that are simply terrible, but not any competitive team imo.
-
LJ
I think 5 players from on here could beat the worst D-III team in the country. I know some of the schools do open tryouts every year just to get 5 on the floor.queencitybuckeye wrote:

Possibly, and if so, the same five guys would paste the UConn ladies.LJ wrote:

I don't think a bunch of nobodies would "paste" the UConn women's team. I don't think you know how bad the low level teams in D-III are. -
queencitybuckeye
Perhaps I don't. I can only compare it to the D3 football I played, and the concept that a top high school team could beat a bad D3 team. They can't. Never in a million years. Unless the bottom of the well in basketball is lower than it is in football, I would tend to believe that the difference in physical strength and speed would overcome the superior skills.LJ wrote:

jordo212000hahahahahahahahahaahaha. No UCONN could not beat a men's team.
-
wes_mantoothNo, they couldn't beat a good high school boys team.
-
Cleveland BuckUnless this D-III team is a school for physically handicapped, they will still have superior athletes to the UConn women. It would be incredibly difficult for the ladies to even get a clean look at the basket, and they wouldn't stand a chance inside on offense or defense.
