killer_ewokHe's got to play for Butler to have a chance against Duke.
-
swamisezpretty safe to say, he will play in this game. You would have to be in a coma not to play in the NC game
-
jordo212000Butler needs him and he will definitely help their chances of winning, but let's not forget he essentially didn't show up last night

This I agree with. Without him, I don't think they have a chance. With him..I wouldn't bet against them!killer_ewok wrote: He's got to play for Butler to have a chance against Duke. -

Easy to say this. But all it takes is for a Doctor to say no go, and he has no choice in the matter.swamisez wrote: pretty safe to say, he will play in this game. You would have to be in a coma not to play in the NC game -
NonYeah just watching Howard play over the past couple years, there is no doubt he will play if it's his decision.
It won't be. -
Prescott
I would . Butler will have to play great just to give themselves a chance. With him..I wouldn't bet against them! -

Really? They just beat Syracuse, Kansas St and MSU within the past 2 weeks. This team is better then people give them credit for, and I didn't think they would get by any of those teams. What really impressed me was against MSU. MSU uglied the game up as much as they could and Butler matched it. Defensively, they are extremely good. I agree, they will have to play good to win, AND have Howard. But they won't have to be great.Prescott wrote:

NonButler has taken everyone out of their game with their defense.
Syracuse, Kansas State, Michigan State. Even UTEP was very talented and athletic.
With Duke there is that danger of them hitting a run of 3s and going up by 10 or more, but I know Butler will be closer to the shooters than WVU was.
Butler is similar to Duke in their help defense and just overall competitiveness, taking charges and so forth. -
Prescott
Yea, really!! I did bet on duke and gave 6.5 points. I suspect the line will get to 8 or 9 before tipoff.Really? -

I'm sorry that the facts bother you, but injuries have played a major role in this tournament.Syracuse lost Arinze Onuaku, Purdue lost Robbie Hummel, Michigan State lost Kalin Lucas, West Virginia lost Truck Bryant and then Dasean Butler. I can't remember another tournament in which injuries impacted so many different teams.like we have heard already in this tourney. -

Once the game is over, do you put your Duke gear away or do you wear it for the rest of the week? Then which team do you start rooting for?ccrunner609 wrote: Oh please play. After Duke beats them I dont want hear anything about how they were missing their players like we have heard already in this tourney. -

Seriously, get over your insecurities with your own team. If Duke goes on to win...they have the title no matter what the circumstances. Does it really matter? Only for you I guess. Your the one with the issues here...ccrunner609 wrote: Oh please play. killer_ewokHoward was cleared for Butler's shootaround......but not for the title game. Yet.
