THE4RINGZWill keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

devil1197WOW
That is terrible news as this kid had a very bright future for ND. -
SpeedofsandTragic news. So awful, and it happens every year. He is the 2nd one in PCB this spring break.
Prayers to his family and friends. -
sjmvsfscs08WHAT THE FUCK. That is absolutely terrible news.
-
lhslep134My deepest prayers to the family
-
cviewDamn, this is unfortunate. Prayers to the family and community. I can't say it surprises me though. Panama City Beach is out of control. We were there before for spring break as college students(at least a little more experienced than HS kids) and a local volunteer emergency medical worker told us there are about 15 deaths there per year. Very sad.
-
sleeperOnce this kid committed to ND, I knew he would never win a bowl game.
-
dat dudeWow, absolutely terrible news.
-
OneBuckeyeWow. He was one of the best ol recruits in the country very sad
-
killer_ewokJust saw this. Absolutely horrible. I was looking forward to watching this young man play for the Irish. But that pales in comparison to the life that was lost. I can't imagine what the family is going through. RIP
-
wes_mantoothWow this is terrible.
What happened...is there any newer reports out? -

To be honest, I doubt the whole truth comes out to the public. They'll say it was an accident, but my friends were all just down there for spring break and said a lot of people get really really drunk on the balconys, and so alcohol was probably involved.wes_mantooth wrote: Wow this is terrible.

It's one of the saddest stories I've heard involving death to a young man, especially one with such a bright future, and I feel so terrible not only for his family, but the friends that were down there with him. -
killer_ewokThe only thing I've seen is that he fell from a 3rd floor hotel balcony. One week shy of his 18th birthday.

killer_ewok
I agree with everything you said.lhslep134 wrote:

The article mentioned he was "drunk and belligerent" in the time leading up to the fall. Leaned over the rail too far.
"Witnesses and friends indicate he had become drunk and belligerent," Humphreys [policeman] said. "He had leaned over the balcony rail, was shaking his finger at the people in the next room over. He fell over." -
Lovejoy1984^^^
Was about to come post that.
Can't say I was surprised hearing he was drunk. -
devil1197I figured it was alcohol related, but that doesn't take anything away from this terrible incident.
All that kids can do is learn from incidents like these and just take extra precautions.
