Scioto Valley Conference

    Holy crap! hahaha

We need to dig up the SVC record for K's!

    ZANE TRACE 12 PIKETON 0

So much for being the next victim, though. Just goes to show how down the league is. ZT is not having that great of a season. They did get Tripp back so that will help.

Ok, Ok. I just get home to a big serving of crow. I have partaken. Walked right into that one.
  • Quint
It happens to the best of us! If you look at the beginning of this thread. . . I believe some people (I won't name names) predicted overwhelming domination by ZT and Adena. HAHA
  • Ankle Breaker
I don't know if Blackburn was held out of this one because of the Unioto game or what happened. I know that Farmer pitched on Monday against SE, then we played ZT Tues and Unioto Wed. No matter what, I was served.

I just asked if it was the usual 1-2 domination of ZT and Adena ;)

I haven't lived in Ross County in 8 years, can't blame me :)
  • Nate
I think these 2 seasons have to rank high in K's for a pitcher in a season.

    STRIKEOUTS

    Andrew Davis 164 (2002)
    Andrew Davis 139 (2001)
  • Nate
164 by Davis ranks 8th all time in Ohio per OHSSA.org

HAHAHA. . . It was a rhetorical question! I thought Adena and ZT would dominate, too.

It's too bad stats have never been kept very well for SVC baseball. Davis has got to be the best.

Exactly. There isn't even any history of his stats from his Freshman year. He didn't pitch much then but I'm sure they would add to his career numbers and put him pretty high up.

Zach Farmer will take out all the K records before he's done - if he stays healthy. A lefty who throws all flame.
  • Nate
    Is he a freshman?
  • Quint
He is a freshman if my memory serves me correct. Ankle Breaker, where's Farmer playing summer ball?
  • Jughead
Westfall picks up a share of the SVC title.

Who honestly saw this coming?
