Principal's Athletic Conference (PAC)

  • Gymshoe
Pitman, keep your updates coming. I enjoy your reports.
The PAC just isn't generating a lot of buzz this season. It's Timken and everyone else. And, at the bottom of the League, well, victories are hard to come by for Fairless, IV, and TV. Of course your Titans are fun to watch and your fan following is awesome. As an IV fan, well, you can count the students in the student section for home games on both hands. Not good.

C'mon Pitman, you're pulling our legs..............that score CAN'T be right.
By the way, IV and CVCA were into their 3rd OT with the score tied at 34.
IV pulled it out at home 44-40 in 3OT.

Wow, quite the stunner at the pit.

Definitely a shocker last night. Fairless played 3 of the 4 quarters at their pace; and when they got ahead late, they knocked down their free throws (26 of 37). Triway was down 10 with just over 2 minutes to go, cut it to 5 with just over a minute to go, but Fairless kept nailing their FT's. Anyone that was there will agree that it had to be the LONGEST 2+ minutes EVER!!!

As for our starters that did not play, I do not know the details but saw the Facebook status of one of the players earlier yesterday afternoon that said "I'm sorry, I fudged up guys"... I don't know why the other one didn't play, but I guess it's not my business. Either way, kudos to our coach (and/or administration) for sticking to their guns and policies, no matter who they had to bench, be it 2 Senior Starters or not. Moving on...

Definitely no excuses from Titan land, though.

Even though we had the 47-26 rebounding edge, here were some other stat categories:
    FT points: Fairless 26 (26/37) - Triway 10 (10/17)
    Turnovers: Triway 20 - Fairless 8
Pts off turnovers: Fairless 18 - Triway 7
    3pt points: Fairless 21 (7/18) - Triway 15 (5/27)
    Bench points: Fairless 27 - Triway 3

The Falcons earned the victory last night. Congratulations on your victory!

Pitman, gotta agree on Coach Snoddy's and your administration's decision to discipline some of your starters. You know as well as I that many schools would just sweep the incident under the rug and slap the players on the wrist, i.e., make them sit the first 2 minutes or something like that. In the long run, this will make Triway a much better team as the players (all of them) learn a valuable life lesson.

I will have the Indian Valley @ Triway game tonight.

    JV Halftime:
    Triway 27
    Indian Valley 18

One of these referees is very, very bad. I'd say "terrible" but that's too many syllables.
