Struthers' Jacubec Family
-
bulldog8I was somewhat hesitant to bring in an article from our competitor, JJ huddle, but it was a very solid write-up on these two brothers and their cousin. Great family story and wonderful season they are having. Find below the link to the article. Best of luck the rest of the season and in the Boardman district from everyone at Poland! Well, at least best of luck until the district finals

CardsFlyinHighIts a real class family. I used to work with the father back in the day. Great to see his boys having success.

cmhs_prideHmmm...I thought their seasoon wasn't that impressive and they were overrated....just reading another thread on here that's all.
Way to go Struthers, and all the Jacubec's. -

Giving respect to a group of very talented young men is far different than providing my input on why some aren't giving them "the respect they deserve" or considering them Mahoning Valley elite. This is the first very competitive team Struthers has had in years and they were still unable to knock off Poland or Canfield this season. I'll be completely sold if they knock off Mooney and Poland in the district. However, my realistic evaluation of their season doesn't mean I can't tip my cap to a solid season, an impressive story for this family, and most importantly, a classy couple of kids who obviously are something special.cmhs_pride wrote: Hmmm...I thought their seasoon wasn't that impressive and they were overrated....just reading another thread on here that's all.

SHSAttackWhoever you play, if you go 18-2, you deserve respect. Obviously, Struthers will have to have a few more good seasons to be mentioned in the Elite, however they def deserve a high level of respect. As for the JAcubec family, they are a great bunch of kids. One word describes them: CLASS.

Bucknuts108I have known these kids since they were in diapers and they are fun group to be around. They come from a great family and truly love the game of basketball. Good luck in the tournament Struthers, keep this going.
