How Good is Shadyside...Info

  Does anyone know anything about Shadyside. I seen their 19-0 and ranked 6th in DIV.
  They must have 1 game left but you can not find a schedule for this team anywhere on the internet.

  they have one make up game with barnesville left. dont know when or if they will make it up. their forte is defense. very quick and like to run. couple of 6'4" players, one inside player and coaches son who likes to shoot threes. they use an eight man rotation really not losing much 5th through 8th man. the two starting guards have the ability to drive and or shoot threes. first sectional game thursday night against bellaire st. johns. starters should only see limited action.

  I heard they are a good team but have not seen them play. If anyone has a date when they play let us know. I would like to see them.

  thursday night 6:00pm morristown(union local high school) first sectional game vs bellaire st. johns. get there early if you want to see starters. wont be in long.

  Don't waste your gas or your time going to the St. John's game. Connotton Valley man-handled St. John twice.

  ^^^true. shadyside shouldn't have any problems getting through sectionals. other teams in our bracket are river and beallsville. shadyside defeated river easily both times they played and st. johns gave beallsville all it could handle. st. johns ..well is st. johns.

  I heard CV beat St. Johns..they must be really bad..........easy win for Shadyside.........won't be making that trip

  Good (not great) team that has benefited from a weak schedule. The traditional teams on their schedule that are strong were all down this year. In my opinion, they are candidates to get upset in the district.

  Maybe, but it is shaking out to be a fairly weak district. I think maybe even a weak regional...although, I believe that McDonald is in the same region. I haven't seen them, so I don't know how good they really are.

  maybe your right but other than one game with shenandoah the average margin of victory was 20+ points. also i wouldn't consider it an upset if hiland beat us in districts. they're a perenial basketball power.

  is this the year Shadyside gets out of the districts? 19 or 20-0 is impressive but don't know the competition well enough to have an opinion. Shadyside has a nice program i do know that.
