BG Warthog
Welcome to the forum. Read any thread about BG basketball and you are going to find a comment or two that points out the coaching. Even posters who root for other schools agree, so it's not just BG fans whining. It's sad and I've basically given up posting about it because it's like some kind of inside joke with everyone here. Everyone knows why BG can't beat Perrysburg. Everyone knows why BG loses to inferior teams. Everyone knows that BG never has and never will play a solid defense, rebound well, run an offense through the post, etc.Ballmovement732 wrote: I have seen BG play and I find it pathetic that a coach can allow this kind of play. Does he really think this style is effective? BG has four to five guys who can score twenty any night yet they run no offense and give there shooters no decent opportunities. Who is to blame for this? It's simple bad coaching. No wonder BG can never beat pburg. -
hookshotIt will go on and on. Apparently more than just the young kids down in BG with the "Fear Von" t-shirts.

phbobcatOnly three more games of misery and we can hope that next season will be different......

ross ford81Next season will be different in some ways. Bobcats will win more games. Bobcats will have three very substantial players and several role players that will be OK in a year like 2010-11. I know some disagree, but I don't see any other NLL team that improves much or at all next season (at least not enough to beat BG), although Springfield could be a challenge and Perrysburg should be down but Boyce always seems to find a way. I see BG losing very few games next year. Other things that people talk about won't change...

Swamp FoxI would probably tend to agree with you, "ross ford", concerning your run down on next year's NLL Season. BG loses some quality kids but they return some very talented players. There are also substantial losses around the League and the chances for a banner year for the Bobcats would appear to be quite good. It will be interesting to see how things shake out next year. I have learned (quite a long time ago) that it is unwise to rule out the Yellowjackets no matter who they are losing. They are amazingly resilient and just keep on winning. The Cougars will be athletic and a handful as well and it really doesn't matter which League school you refer to, strange things happen in the NLL on every single game night all season long. It's a highly competitive League and the kids get after each other pretty hard. For the record, I would also keep a wary eye out for Coach Reiser's Blue Devils next season. They will have plenty to say about who ends up on top. It might be them. For those teams I haven't mentioned, you could win it also. Our League is a lot of fun to follow. Now, if someone could just knock off those Jackets!!!!!!
