Week #9 NLL Pick 'Em Results Plus Week #10 Game Sheet....
-
Swamp FoxCongratulations to BG Warthog and phbobcat for their perfect 9 for 9 entries in Week 9. My apologies again for the omission of the Perrysburg-East Cleveland game. I was in Columbus all day Friday at the OATCCC Clinic and Banquet at the Hilton at Easton and missed the game in the schedule. for the record, I think most of us would have selected the Jackets, so I don't think it would have changed anything. At any rate, we enter a very short Week 10 schedule but a HUGE game is the centerpiece of this week's schedule. It's BG at Perrysburg with one game separating the teams. Common sense and history, vs. the chance that the Bobcats can rise above many losses to Perrysburg in the last few years and force the NLL Race into a two way tie with the Jackets. Interesting, isn't it? At any rate....here are the updated standings after week 9 games have been tabulated, followed by Week 10 Games.

Rossford............................I keep waiting for Maumee to play to their potential. Rossford rolling again!
Springfield.........................Too much McFadden and Alexander.
Southview..........................Anthony Wayne needs to get to baseball and track.
Bowling Green....................Going against common sense but I have a feeling. BG by three in OT.
Saturday, February 6th Games
Toledo Start.......................Anthony Wayne also needs to get to tennis and softball!!!

hookshotFeb. 2:
*St. Francis by 9 over Northview. Knights not all that strong but plenty good enough against Wildcats.
Feb. 5:
*Rossford by 10 over Maumee. Panthers are way, way overdue. Until they win, I'm not picking them.
*Springfield by 17 over Northview. Alexander & McFadden have a field day.
*Southview by 12 over AW. Wouldn't be surprised if this was close, but don't see the Generals getting there.
*Perrysburg by 1 over BG. Bobcats ought to be 10-point favorites in terms of player personnel matchups.
Feb. 6:
*Toledo Start by 20 over AW. Henderson has a picnic. Its about his 5th picnic of the season.
*Springfield by 11 over Wauseon. Similar to the Delta game. NWOAL not all the competitive. -
ross ford81TUESDAY.
--St. Francis over Northview by 16. Knights need to play at high level to compete in the TCL down the stretch.
FRIDAY.
--Rossford over Maumee by 2. Panthers continue their tradition of playing good teams close. Leahy's on a roll.
--Springfield over Northview by 5. Wildcats find a way to make a game of it.
--Southview over AW by 9. Cougars just play good enough for a reasonably comfortable win.
--Perrysburg over BG by 12. Yellow Jackets are due for a better played game than they've shown lately. BG has better starters. Jackets better on the bench. Boyce should have them ready.
SATURDAY.
--Start over AW by 15. Spartans use athleticism to run by the Generals.
--Springfield over Wauseon by 6. If the Devils come to play, this could be much wider. -

NLLBESTFRIDAY.
Maumee over Rossford by 3. Maumee makes someone other then Leahy win.
Springfield over Northview by 9. Leroy stays hot
Southview over AW by 13. Cougars win easy.
BG over Perrysburg by 5. Could it be? UPSET BG shares the league title with perrysbrg this year.
SATURDAY.
--Start over AW by 20. Spartans run and A-W attempts to trun with them
--Springfield over Wauseon by 17. Showing why maumee has a chance to win sectionals this year. -
phbobcatWhy oh why did I go with the Bobcats!?!
-
NLLBESTMaumee loses by about 8. Altleast it wasn't a heartbraker? ha
-
Swamp FoxAnd BG couldn't get it done against Perrysburg as my departure from common sense made the top positions get really bunched up. Now it's only 1 point separating the top three with plenty of time left for almost anyone to make a move with a couple of upset picks and win the poll. I'll just never learn!!!!!
-
BG WarthogI'd just like to thank all you guys at the top that picked BG to allow me to move up and have a shot at winning this little competition.
-
Swamp FoxYou're welcome. I did it to myself and have no one to blame but me.
-
ross ford81If BG plays Perrysburg at tourney time I think you guys should pick the Bobcats again. Seriously, BG has the better players, especially if X. Brown and Orr are going to continue to get better.
-
phbobcatThinking D1 Sectional at LB will have Pburg #1 playing AW/Findlay winner and #2 Lima Sr/Maume winner playing winner of Findlay/BG
-
ross ford81PH: There are six teams in the L-B Sectional. Maumee is D-II this year. Springfield is in this Sectional. I see Perrysburg #1 and BG #2 as the top seeds, with Springfield, Findlay and Lima Senior next. AW is the only team not competitive in this sectional.
-
phbobcatDon't think BG will be #2 due to their loss to Findlay, LSH's much tougher schedule plus BG's inability to beat a top notch team. I would like another chance at Pburg though..
-
Toledo_OutsiderDoes anyone know how the seeding for the tournament works? Is it voted on by the coaches for the top two spots and then the third seed gets to choose which side of the bracket they go to?
-
ross ford81PH: I'm going to start a new thread on the L-B D-I Sectional. The drawing is next Sunday (Feb. 14).
