One disagreement I have is defending DIV state champion Hiland losing by single-digits to a Division I team, and they're bumped down from the #1 spot. -
dhs22pKinda surprised that Dalton got a first place vote.

Probably the same person that voted for Norwayne. Just a guess.dhs22p;1091558 wrote:Kinda surprised that Dalton got a first place vote. -

GlenOak may be DI , but they were also only 6-12, and the last week is not the time to lose a game when you have undefeated teams left that the pollsters see only records and not strength of schedule, you should know that from past poll winners from this areathePITman;1091501 wrote:One disagreement I have is defending DIV state champion Hiland losing by single-digits to a Division I team, and they're bumped down from the #1 spot. -
Hesston20-0 and winning the poll is nice but its also can be a burden, if there is such a thing as a good loss (probably not) it was Saturday vs Glen Oak in they're barn. Time to refocus figure out how to score on a zone defense.
Two years ago Hiland went 20-0 and didnt get out of the always tuff Byseville district -

In the mid 90's, Degraff Riverside was 20-0, they were literally 10 deep, and went to the Piqua Sectional and lost in the first round to a Shelby County team. Rankings/records don't mean a thing!Hesston;1091777 wrote:20-0 and winning the poll is nice but its also can be a burden, if there is such a thing as a good loss (probably not) it was Saturday vs Glen Oak in they're barn. thePITmanFar worse than Hiland not being #1 in DIV is anyone voting against Dunbar for #1 in DII. LoL

M PlantThe Daily Record has a vote in the AP poll — I vote in the basketball poll, while Dorksen handles football. While I rarely reveal my vote, I will say that I was not the one who gave Dalton and Norwayne first-place votes.

ohiokyle22Everyone sees VASJ at 12-8 and wonders how they can be ranked? Did anyone watch them play? look at their schedule? They dont play a DIV schedule its a DI schedule.
