Bowling Green 71 Fremont Ross 35

  • Swamp Fox
Bethany Hoehner had 18 and Hayley Williford had 15 as Bowling Green cruised to an easy victory over the Little Giants Tuesday night. BG led from the start to even their over-all record at 2-2. The Bobcats appear to be a much better team on both ends of the floor this season. Other than giving up too many second shot opportunities, the BG Squad was in complete control.

Note...Fremont Ross is 0-4 and not going anywhere anytime soon. One of the worst teams in NW Ohio...this is not to degrade what BG did, just trying to keep you from analyzing this win as making them a much better team.

Their other win came against unbeaten Elmwood who will probably finish at the bottom or very close to the bottom of the SLL.

Either way, congrats to BG and keep up the hard work.

I am in total agreement with youbuckeyefalls. I think that BG's loss to a pretty good Springfield team is a much better measuring stick, as to the improvement being displayed by the Bobcats this season. I 'm basically just reporting the result tonight, although in reading my post, it does sound the way you described it. Point taken.

Glad you didn't take it as me bashing you or BG as you are right as well. They are moving in the right direction but it will certainly help to beat some team with a win - lol.

And as luck would have it, the Bobcat Girls host Jerry Sigler's Northview Wildcats in their next game. Sometimes you have to take baby steps on the way to becoming a contender again, and this game is probably one of those times.
