PariahGreat. Two more games to resechedule when the ice, sleet, and snow storms come.
More money for schools, more enjoyment for fans, and I'm sure the players would rather play games than practice. I'm in. -
majorsparkI am all for it.
-
oberhausIts a good move. You wouldn't even need to add a week to the schedule really. There are plenty of weeks with only 1 game.
-
riders1We presentlly have 12 weeks for 20 games, so even 2 a week would be 24 games , so 22 would still leave 2 weeks with 1 game and I have seen teams with 3 games in 1 week.

majorsparkThis change will put another asterisk behind broken career and season records.

very true.
I am ok with it, but it seems like teams always struggle to get 20 games in because of Ohio's crappy weather. I hope it works out and you know the kids(the most important part) will welcome this over practice anytime...lol -
riders1Basically it's 2 more nonleague games so make the AD'S work and find open Tuesdays or Saturdays or play in those holiday classics can be expanded to 2 games per team instead of just 1.
-
majorsparkYou could see some leagues expand and add a school.

Doubtful...cause other sports arent expanding the seasons. You wont add a school especially for football reasons unless you needed one in football. Really football is the only sport where # of league members really matters. -

Good point. I did say some. But I agree football is the driving force behind league structure. -
ernest_t_bassAs a referee, I personally don't like this. I'd rather see the season shortened. November - March is LONG.

cat_loverMore basketball is good but the school I follow could do with less football.
