D IV Hiland 8 D I Massillon (Ranked #3) 4
-
Mr. 300The Hawks spank the Tigers on Thursday for a huge win. Looks like Massillon is a bit overated now at 15-4 record.

thePITmanRemember that Hiland is #3 in DIV. Maybe Hiland is just that good, and maybe it's not really a crack on Massillon. Plus it's baseball, and all teams run into good/bad spots in their rotation at odd times. This could be a number of things... but Hiland is no slouch and has been strong for a very long time. This is not a loss for Massillon to hang their heads, but it may serve as a reminder to not take anyone lightly.

jenna8I had the chance to watch some of the Hiland boys play last summer. They are the real deal. We might be hearing about the Burch boy playing at another level in a few years. And I am not just talking college ball. The boy can flat out play. Good luck Hawks might be a state trip on the horizon. Some coaches may want to get there boys playing summer ball. It makes a difference.

xnds1fanI never put much stock in non league game results. Some coaches empty the benches and give subs a chance to play and some coaches play all of their starters. Both teams are good this year.

Mr. 300Skank fails to comment? Hmmmmmmm

skankGood win for the Hawks....What do you want me to say? Congrats to the Hawks. At least you learned how to spell Massillon. Spelling the name of the town correctly is important when trolling.

skankAnyway, baseball is alot different than football or basketball, Massillon Tuslaw beat Massillon Perry this past week, and Canton Central Catholic beat Cleveland St. Ignatius in the past couple of weeks also.

thePITmanCanton Central Catholic beat the defending DI State Champs, St Edward, recently, as well.
