Northwest Ohio High School Baseball

Any thoughts on the upcoming high school baseball season? I believe the NLL will be about as strong 1-5 or 6 as nearly any conference in the state. The City may be slightly down this year but key players return at central as well as SJJ. St. Francis has a solid team but young pitching staff. Could this possibly be Clays year? And the TACC looks to be between Ottawa Hills, Northwood and Toledo Christian with all 3 teams having very good #1 pitchers on there team. Buckey, Juhasz and Dodd. Any predictions in the SLL or even NWOAL are welcome too.

Well in the NLL Northview has started 2-0 with 2 5-0 wins over Bowsher and Whitmer (both no-hitters), Perrysburg is 1-0 with a 10-0 mercy of Lake (perfect game schmenk), Maumee is 1-0 with a 4-3 win over whitmer, A-W is in Tennessee and is 1-1 i believe with a 5-6 loss to St. Ed and a 12-5 win over Gibbs (Tenn.), SV is 0-1 with a 3-7 loss to Clay, Rossford is 0-1 with a 5-7 loss to swanton and Springfield is 1-0 wih a 6-5 win over Cardinal Stritch.
If I guessed today it would look like NV, Perrysburg Maumee BG and A-W will be pretty strong at the top. SV should be able to compete if not beat all of these teams on a good day then Springfield and Rossford will struggle.

Any idea how BG did against Start?

BG lost to Start 9-5 I believe.
Maumee Split with SJJ today. Lost 13-3 then won 9-2. Pitching and defense were the keys to both games IMO. Both teams hit pretty well from top to bottom.
    Maumees now 2-1
Pburgs 2-0 after a 9 inning 1-0 win vs Clay
A-W is 3-1 after 2 more wins in Tenn.
    BG is 1-1
Springfield 0-1 (close loss to SJJ)
