  You might not realize it, but my old HS went at it with Orrville back in the day...back in 1979 when The O beat out the Ross Rams in the State Basketball tourney in the now extinct AA division. Luckily Ross won it in 1980.
  
  I didn't start going to Ross until the 80-81 school year, so I wasn't there when they won it. However once I embraced being there I had to see that banner every day when I was in HS. I have to say Congrats back then to ya'll and weren't you the starting Point Guard for that team ???

  You are a really funny guy! I was thinking that Ross beat us in the semi-finals in 1980. Oh well, RR1 will set us straight. Well, back then, I was about 27 years old. Today, picture BRF on a Segway, diahing out the assists!

  Unbiased opinion; bnr is clueless, at least on this issue. Just watching a small fraction of their games, it is clear to me that none of the senior guards are as good as, let alone better than the juniors or sophomores. Mitchell is undersized and not a very impressive ball handler for a tiny guard. Unfortunately for the Riders, they have no one that can pass as a legitimate point guard, and their outside shooting is quite bad, which is a shame with all the size and skill at the power positions.
  
  BTW...pretty sure that this coach is more proven than the previous, and he DID lead them to the finals last year. Your post drips with bitterness and spite, but lacks any logic or any basis of fact.

  That is a point that I've been considering since we first starting losing games once into the season. What school wouldn't be licking their chops to have what we have in the front court? And then we don't have anything to compliment them. I think back to the old days and then my days of coaching and would have been ecstatic to have that front line, knowing that there was always a plethora of "guards" who worked on dribbling and passing and free throws in their driveway to be able to get the chance to play with a front line like that. But that was then and this is now.

  Im sticking with OQB on this one. Really have no reason. We suck because seniors don't get to play and they are playing sophomore who are the coaches favorites. Give me a break.
