Crimson and Gray HairInteresting that Maysville preferred a possible match-up with Zanesville over JG although neither'd be a walk in the park.

This is just Maysville being stubborn and cocky, thinking that they are better than Zanesville. They gave Zanesville everything they could handle, but that was last year, this year, Zanesville will be more focused. -
Crimson and Gray HairPerhaps they preferred Zanesville in the sectional over Carrollton at the district.

Minerva and John Glenn also square off Thursday night -
Crimson and Gray HairGreat effort by Phila, they nearly took out Maysville. Impressive improvement in the Quakers over the course of the season - too bad every team but one has to end their season with a loss.
-
old guyI think the West Holmes - Dover game should be a good one. If it is low scoring I'll take Dover, if the game gets in the 50's I'll take West Holmes.

this is pretty much the rule for any Dover game. -
september63I dont know who will win but WH wont touch 40, let alone 50 against Dover.

september63Dover wins 58-31. I knew WH wouldnt get close to 40, but I wasnt sure Dover would win.

Dover knocked the Little Muskies out of the sectional last year. John Glenn smoked Dover this year by about 25 points in Muskieland. These teams have met at least once a year since the 2002 season, so there will be no surprises
Updated after the Lower Bracket contests on Thursday. -
Crimson and Gray Hair"John Glenn defeated Minerva 53-47"
JG squeaked by on that one! Minerva had that W in their pockets but let a handful of stupid offensive ball handling turnovers lose the game for them.
Shame - you can't just give the ball away like that and expect to win against this JG team. -
LocoEngineer66Off to Coshocton to watch Zanesville/Maysville ... then to Belmont to watch Carrollton/Harrison Central ... then to fieldhouse to watch Northwest/Louisville ... God I love high school sports!!!

I didn't know Cole could throw down like that. Was that his first dunk in a game? -
BlueDevil11No he had a huge one over/around a kid at East Liverpool. I believe that this was his second of the season.
