september63Seems Massillon Jackson slipped out of the top 10. Hmmmmm
-
wildcats20Finally the voters got the message about Westerville South.
-
wes_mantoothAnyone have any info on Rosecrans? Last year they had an awesome freshman PG, but they must have gotten some transfers or something, because they are undefeated and they always play a brutal schedule.

They only beat Claymont by 13 earlier this season. Go scout them for yourself Wes. They play at Claymont Feb 11th. Their roster shows 2 SR's, 5 JR's and 6 SOPH'S. Very good size with 3 guys at 6'3", a 6'4", a 6'5" and a 6'6" . -

No transfers. They got everyone back from last year except a senior roll player. They start the now sophomore PG and four juniors. They have two solid bigs at 6'6" and 6'5". The 6'6" kid leads them in scoring with about 20ppg. The wings are both over 6'. I know one of them is 6'3". They can shoot the three well.wes_mantooth;662196 wrote:Anyone have any info on Rosecrans? Rosecrans are very talented but have no bench. The talent level drops off fast. Foul trouble and fatigue will cause them problems. Their schedule is not as strong this year as it was in times past when they were in the CCL. They will not lose a game this year. They play TCC the last game of the season @ Rosecrans. We will see how that goes. The also play a Claymont on Feb 11 so you could see them for yourself.
Barring an upset they will meet Hiland in the district. -
BlueDevil11As stated, they have no bench at all. If they get in foul trouble or have an injury, that could end their season. Another problem is there 6'6" kid is a point guard with toothpicks for arms. he two big guys inside are pretty strong though. They are a team that can get up and down the court, but it depends how long when they face a team that is able to keep up with them. The biggest problem I noticed when watching them play was their lack of effort on the defensive end. They were playing Claymont, but it was still terrible effort.
They are a pretty good team for D-4 but they need some work in several areas. -
september63TY for your scouting report. It seems they have the ability to reach the Final Four, but you might be surprised if they won it all?
-
BlueDevil11Honestly I don't know how far they can make it because I don't know anything about the other D4 teams. They are a solid team especially for D4 but they need some work. That game was a month ago or so, so they could've improved since then. I am planning on going to the TCC game so I will see what has happened between those two games.

september63Nice weekend for Massillon Perry. Swept the city of Canton (Mckinley and Timken). I believe Perry is better than Jackson at this point.
